Minimal Memory Pattern Match Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select the PLAY button on the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • The welcome screen has a sound control button under the PLAY button.

    • Use your mouse left click button to select each square which was lit up on the level preview.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to select each lit square from the level preview.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • In this game you have to select each of the lit squares without selecting any of the squares that were not lit.
    • You can select the squares in any order & do not need to follow the pattern they were illuminated.
  • Levels
    • This game has 10 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • Each level has 3 stages in it.
      • To beat a level you must complete all 3 stages.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
      • If you fail a level you can play it again an unlimited number of times.
    • Level design
      • As you progress through the levels the size of the playing field grows from the initial board of 3×3 with 9 squares to a 9×10 board consisting of 90 squares.
      • Within each level you need to select one more square in each stage. For example, 10-1 has 5 squares to select, 10-2 has 6 squares to select, and 10-3 has 7 squares to select.
  • Tips
    • Try to remember the relationship between lit squares.
      • Start with squares close to a corner, or squares close to other lit squares & then go for the last few isolated squares later in the level.
    • If you consistently get stuck you can take a screenshot of each stage and use that for picking which squares to highlight.
