- The welcome screen also has the following buttons under the play button:
- help – how to play
- high scores – your best scores you have earned on the game played in that web browser
- more games – a link to our homepage
- The lower left corner of the welcome screen has a language select dropdown.
- The lower right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for sharing the game and developer information.
- Game Controls
- Desktop
- Left click on a card or a run of cards and drag it to where you want to play it.
- When you can not make any more plays using the cards on the tableau click on the reserves to deal 10 more cards to the tableau.
- Touchscreen devices
- Tap the screen with a finger to use it like a mouse.
- Controls & indicators
- The top of the right rail shows your current score and remaining time.
- The bottom of the right column has an undo move button which can be used up to 3 times before recharging, a pause button, buttons to control game sound and music, and a button to play in full screen mode.
- Game Play
- Dealing
- 54 cards are dealt to the tableau in 10 stacks of 5 or 6 cards each. Only the top card is face up. Each time you remove a card the next card underneath is turned up.
- 50 cards are dealt to the reserves.
- Since this game is two suited all cards are either Spades or Hearts.
- This game has a 20 minute time limit.
- Playing
- On the tableau any card or consecutive descending suited stack of cards can be moved onto another stack provided it is in consecutive descending order & is one below the bottom card on the column you are moving it to.
- If there is a card in the stack which is not in proper descending order you must remove it from the stack before you can play other cards above it.
- You can move any card at the bottom of the stack (or any sequential suited descending run of cards) to an empty column on the tableau.
- When you click on the reserves it deals a card to the bottom of each of the stacks on the tableau.
- There are 5 sets of 10 cards dealt at a time.
- When playing cards on the tableau it generally makes sense to try to clear at least one column as quickly as possible as that enables you to use the empty column to re-organize the cards in other columns.
- By creating an empty column you can use it to help put other columns which use both suits into new stacks which are suited.
- This also allows you to clean up many messes made by out-of-order cards dealt from the reserves ruining some sequences you had in place.
- If you are uncertain the better move between a couple parallel options you can use the move undo button.
- Undo moves
- The undo move button can be used up to 3 times.
- Each time you make a valid move it refreshes the undo button to allow it to be used up to 3 more times.
- Scoring
- Each foundation you build is worth 130 points, for a maximum base score of 1,040 points.
- Your remaining time when you beat the game is also worth points. Each second you have remaining when the game is completed is worth 10 points.
- Difficulty
- This game is somewhat challenging. 20 minutes is a long time to beat the game, but the game is slightly harder than the single suited version of Spider Solitaire & significantly easier than the four suited version of the game.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like Spider Solitaire card games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
