2048 Legend Number Merge Game for Kids Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select one of the 9 flags on the game loading screen to choose your language.
  • On the welcome screen select the playing size between 4×4, 6×6, or 8×8 and then click the orange and white play button.
  • The welcome screen contains buttons to enable full screen mode and sound control in the upper right corner, and a playing info button in the lower right corner.

    • Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to slide the tiles up, down, left or right.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger and move it in a direction to drag all tiles in that direction.
  • The game shows your current score and all time best score in the left side of the screen.
  • In the lower left there is a pause button, in the upper right there are buttons to go to full screen mode and control game sounds, and in the lower right there are buttons to undo moves or restart the level.

    • If you play with a board size larger than 4×4 this game is quite easy as a larger board size lets you make many errors and still be able to beat the game.
    • I think you can beat the game playing absolutely mindlessly with a 6×6 or 8×8 board size just by randomly clicking on the arrow direction keys.
    • After you get to a tile value of 2048 you can tap to play and keep on playing to see how high you can get.
    • Your total score is the value of all the merges you have made.
    • You can merge multiple 2048 tiles together into a 4096 tile. If you get multiple 4096 tiles they will not merge into a 9192 tile – the 4096 tiles can not be merged.
  • Game Strategy
    • If you play on a 4×4 board this game requires a lot more strategy to beat, as you only get a few free cells after playing for a while.
    • When you move cells in any direction all cells will move in that direction if there is a place for them to move.
    • Tiles merge in the direction you are moving. If 3 of the same tiles are in a row the first 2 tiles will merge. If 4 of the same tiles are in a row then the first 2 tiles will merge and the second 2 tiles will merge, with both sets filling forward in the direction you moved.
    • A tile with a value of 2 or 4 will appear on the opposite side of the playing field which you are merging into.
    • In most cases one typically should alternate moving tiles vertically and horizontally.
