3D Santa Rescue Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen are the following options:
    • Select New Game to begin a fresh game session.
    • Select Help to learn about the game’s controls.

• Game Play
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
      • Only the first level is unlocked at the start of the game.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve unlocked.
      • Open the level selection screen to access the levels.
      • Each time you restart the game, you always begin at the first level. Use the level selection screen to pick up where you last left off.
    • There are 20 levels in this game.
  • Basic rules
    • As Santa, get to the reindeer before the skeleton does.
      • You can only take steps from one designated interval (marked in gold) to another.
      • If you stop at an empty space, you end up going back to your last valid stop.
      • The skeleton moves fast and has no such restrictions; if it gets to the reindeer first, you lose.
    • To move, select the pertinent number of steps from one valid interval to the next.
      • You can move between 1 and 8 steps as shown in the top row by selecting the associated button.
      • In some instances, you can move past more than one interval in a single move.
        • For instance, if the distance between you and the first interval is 4 steps, and the one after that is 3 additional steps, you can choose the 7 steps. This is actually much faster and will help you beat out the skeleton by a long shot.
        • However, if the distance between you and the next closest interval is 9 steps, you’re better off taking the closer one first.
      • Arrows point the path of travel. Squares have a small line which connects cell to cell.
