Adventures in Babysitting Game for Kids Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Click on the orange and yellow start button in the lower right corner.
    • This will bring up the level select screen.
    • On your first play through the game only the first level is unlocked.
    • To play levels 2 through 9 you must first beat the prior levels.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to change the position of the red track junction and alter the movement path of the girls as they try to collect all the coins and evade detection.
    • You do not need to click on the red switch to change it’s position. Clicking anywhere on the screen will work.
  • Touchscreen
    • Tap near the junction and slide your finger to alter the track’s course.
  • The upper right corner of the game has a pause screen. When the game is paused it shows how to swap rails and information about power ups.
  • The upper left corner of the game shows your coin goal as well as how many coins you have already obtained.
• Game Strategy
  • Switches
    • In most cases you typically want to click on the red switch at least once, though sometimes you have to click on it twice.
    • There are, however, a couple spots where you do not want to change the track’s direction.
    • If the game is moving slow and you can see the forward track on both options it can be quite easy to know which path to take, but when the game moves quickly and the track moves off screen the game becomes more a game of luck or trial & error, with you memorizing the track from prior plays until you make your way to the end of the level.
  • Coins & Power Ups
    • Collect enough coins to get a good enough star rating to unlock the next level.
    • Run into the shield to protect yourself from getting hit by an obstacle.
    • The magnet will pull nearby coins to you for a couple seconds.
  • Dying & Restarting
    • If you go through a steamer without a shield on you will lose a few coins but won’t die.
    • If you fall off of the track you’ll get caught & it is game over.
    • When you lose you can restart the current level again an unlimited number of times, though you have to recollect the coins again.
    • When you complete a level you can move on to the next level or go back and repeat a level you already beat to try to obtain a higher score.
• Target Audience
  • This game is fun for players of all ages, though young children might get frustrated when the track speeds up and multiple switches need to be made consecutively.
  • There are no adult themes in this game.
