- Basic rules
- Select a plane or helicopter.
- Draw a line from the plane or helicopter to their correct landing platforms
- Planes must land on the platforms of their color.
- Helicopters can only land on helipads.
- If another plane or helicopter is approaching, direct the plane or helicopter away to prevent them from colliding.
- A warning sign will appear when a plane or helicopter is approaching.
- Planes and helicopters that are dangerously close will have a red halo surrounding them.
- The level ends when any of the planes or helicopters crash into one another.
- Be alert. The airport can get very busy quickly.
- Scoring
- Your score depends on the number of planes and helicopters you successfully land.
- You need to meet a specific score in a single playthrough to unlock levels.
- Levels
- There are 4 basic levels in this game & a timed mode.
- Levels are unlocked in sequence.
- You can replay any level you have already unlocked at any time.
- To unlock a level, you must meet a minimum high score. This is shown below the level’s icon on the selection screen.
- Sea zone has one airstrip and one helicopter landing pad.
- It is unlocked at the start of the game.
- Desert zone has two airstrips and one helicopter landing pad.
- The level is unlocked after landing 20 aircraft.
- Rock field zone has two airstrips and one helicopter landing pad.
- The stage has many rocks with a white outline that you must avoid crashing into.
- Try to use one gap (like the top one) to guide the red planes from the right side to the left & use a lower gap for the helicopters and other planes.
- The level is unlocked after landing 40 aircraft.
- Typhoon zone has 2 airstrips and a helicopter landing pad.
- The stage also has a rock which you must avoid crashing into and typhoons which appear periodically.
- The typhoons make the level brutally difficult as they move and change in size. When planes hit the typhoons they are randomly shot out at any direction & are thrown off course of any route you have previously set, meaning you have to plan a new route once again.
- Be sure not to fly near the typhoons and to reroute any plane which has a path going near them.
- The level is unlocked after landing 60 aircraft.
- Time mode has 3 airstrips and 2 helicopter landing pads.
- In this stage aircraft can periodically take off from some of the landing strips.
- Pay attention to the timers & keep the airstrip exits clear when an airplane is about to take off.
- You must fly the planes which took off into targets while also landing all other crafts in the appropriate locations.
- The level is unlocked after landing 80 aircraft.
- Tips
- You can unlock any level by getting a high enough score on any other unlocked level.
- This means you are probably better off trying to unlocked time mode while paying either the sea or desert zones with few obstacles, rather than by trying to earn a high score on the rock field or typhoon zone.
- Route planning
- Minimize route cross overs unless the planes are landing on the same landing strip.
- When possible it is best to try to re-use routes by following previously planes so that they do not run into each other & you have fewer visual paths to track.
- If one plane is faster than the other and is likely to run into the first plane you can make the first plane to a wider loop so that the faster plane lands first.
- As much as possible try to cross over runways with helicopters late in the runway path so any airplanes landing on them are already below the airdeck before you cross over them.
- This game allows you to repeatedly reroute a craft, so if you put extra padding in one flightpath and the plane in front already landed you can tighten up the flight path of the next airplane or helicopter.
- This game allows for excessively sharp turns which would never be allowed on a real airport. Use this feature to your advantage to keep space between planes crossing near each other.
- If an area gets congested sometimes it makes sense to take one of the crafts out of the region to clear out space and then reroute for landing after landing a few of the other crafts.
- In general it is best to try to make most of your flight paths go clockwise or counterclockwise if you have many planes in the air at once.
- Indicators warn where an aircraft will enter the screen, but it can be hard to track all edges of the screen at once while routing planes, so it makes sense to try to design your flight paths so you minimize the amount of time they are close to the borders of the screen.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like air traffic controller games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
