  • Basic rules
    • Aladdin automatically starts running.
    • Collect coins.
    • Survive until the end of the level:
      • Jump over the barrels and onto platforms.
      • Fight or dodge the evil vizier’s soldiers.
      • Avoid chasms.
  • Scoring
    • Each coin you collect is worth 10 points.
    • Your score is cumulative across all playthroughs. Playing a level multiple times will increase your score, even if they do end with you dying.
  • Health and hazards
    • Health
      • Each time you hit a barrel or one of the evil vizier’s minions, you lose a bit of health.
      • When you lose all your health, you die.
      • You can replenish your health by collecting hearts.
      • If you fall, you die all at once regardless of how full your health meter is.
    • Enemies
      • You can jump over your enemies or you can use the sword on them.
      • You can only attack your enemies when you have the sword.
