How to Play

- Starting the Game
- On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
- Select Help to learn the game’s rules.
- Select High Scores to view the game’s leaderboard.
- Select the gear button on the bottom left corner to open the following controls:
- Use the speaker and music buttons to turn the game’s sound on and off.
- Use Reset to clear your game progress.
- Use the drop-down list on the bottom left corner of the screen to choose the game’s language.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

- Levels are unlocked sequentially:
- Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
- Finishing one level automatically unlocks the next one.
- Select Next Level on the win screen to return you to the level selection screen.
- There are 60 levels in this game.
- You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
- Basic rules
- Select a pair of identical stones to remove them from the stack.
- The paired stones make animal sounds when you clear them.
- You can only pair free stones.
- Free stones have no stone above them and at least one side (left or right) without an adjacent stone.
- The game helpfully highlights the free stones with a lighter background color and grays out inactive stones.
- Stone filling
- The stones on the upper parts of the stack fall down as you remove the stones below them. This will affect how you clear the remaining stones.
- Some of the stones that been previously free will get blocked off by falling stones.
- Choosing which tiles to keep as many tiles open is essential to finishing the game on time.
- Clear the entire stack before the level’s timer expires.
- You start with 1 minute on the clock on the first level.
- Later levels have a longer time limit and more stones.
- You fail the level if you don’t clear all the stones in time.
- You can opt to try the level again.
- Otherwise, you can end your playthrough. This lets you save your score in the leaderboard.
- Scoring
- Level score
- Every pair of tiles you clear adds 100 points to your level score.
- After finishing, you also receive 2 points for every second remaining on the timer.
- You can improve your level score by replaying the level and earning a higher score.
- Your level score is shown below the level’s icon on the selection screen.
- Total score
- Your total score is shown in the bottom center of the level selection screen.
- You can improve your total score by playing more levels or replaying earlier levels.
- There are two ways to save your total score:
- Play through all 60 levels.
- End your playthrough after a game over.
- Assistance
- If you’re ever stuck, you can use the hint and shuffle buttons to help you out.
- Select the hint button to identify where a valid pair appears on the stack.
- Select the shuffle button to change the position of all the stones in the stack.
- Both hints and shuffles cost points. Use them sparingly.
- Each hint costs 150 points.
- Each manual shuffle costs 500 points.
