Bird Bump Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button to begin.
    • Select the gear button to the bottom left of the play button to open the game’s audio controls. From here, you can turn the gam’s music and sound effects on and off.
    • Select the shop button on the bottom right of the play button to open the game’s shop window.
  • Select the enlarge button on the top left corner of the screen to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and high score.

  • Basic rules
    • Avoid obstacles by adding segments to the birds body.
      • The bird will grow taller with each segment added and shorter each time the segments hit an obstacle.
      • The bird’s head can pass through the spaces above or below the obstacles.
      • Segments that are cut off from the head but are passing through a tunnel (formed a space between two platforms)still count as part of the bird. They will reunite with the head when the bird clears the obstacle.
    • Collect as many coins as you can.
      • Detached segments of the bird’s body can still pick up coins.
    • Don’t let the bird’s head hit any of the obstacles (platforms, pits, or the ceiling).
    • Don’t touch the hedgehogs.
      • When you hit the hedgehog, the segments will rapidly disappear.
      • Keep adding segments to keep the hedgehog from hitting the bird’s head.
    • If the bird’s head hits any obstacle, it’s game over.
  • Shooting
    • Gradually, the meter below your score fills up.
    • When the meter is fully charged, your bird gains a shooting attack that can be used to take out any obstacle in your path for a brief time.
  • Scoring
    • Your score is determined by the length of time you’ve been playing.
    • You can view your previous and best scores on the game over screen.
  • Shop
    • Collect coins across each playthrough.
    • Use the coins you’ve collected to unlock new playable characters at the shop.
      • There are 9 unlockable characters to play as, which includes 5 more birds and 4 mammals.
      • 3 birds cost 500 coins each.
      • One bird costs 600 coins and another bird costs 700 coins.
      • The dog and rabbit cost 800 cons each.
      • The pig costs 900 coins.
      • The unicorn costs 1,000 coins.
