- Game Play
- Deal
- This is a single-deck game where all 52 cards are dealt immediately.
- 4 cards are dealt to the 4 free cells.
- 48 cards are dealt across 8 columns on the tableau, with 6 cards each.
- Cards dealt to the tableau are all dealt face down with the exception of the bottommost card in each stack.
- Reserves
- This game does not have reserves.
- Play
- This game offers a 30-minute time limit.
- On the tableau build down in descending order while alternating suit colors.
- You can temporarily place cards in the 4 free cell positions to enable other plays, though you should put them back into play on the tableau or move them to a foundation as soon as you can.
- One should try to use the cards which are dealt into the free cells as early as they possibly can, as that will offer greater flexibility for the remainder of the game.
- Any card or any valid descending stack can be laid to an open column on the tableau provided you have enough open free cells or columns to move that many cards.
- You can always move individual cards.
- If your free cells were all full and you only had 1 empty stack you could only move 1 card at a time.
- If your free cells were empty and you had 2 empty columns then you could move 8 cards across to one of the empty columns at once.
- An alternate way to get around lower move limits is to either clear up space by moving some cards to the foundation, or move portions of a stack at a time & bring them across multiple different tableau stacks in stages.
- Scoring
- Each card you lay to a foundation is worth 10 points for a maximum base score of 520 points.
- Your remaining time when you complete the game is also adds to your score, with each second being worth 50 points.
