- Basics
- The goal of this game is to move the colored blocks with arrows on them onto the starred square with the same color star on them.
- Each level consists of a 5×5 grid of 25 squares. The levels do no wrap, meaning if you have a box in the far-left column and it has a left-facing arrow on it you can not move that box without pushing it up or down with another box.
- Features
- Levels contain a variety of special features.
- Colored boxes with arrows – these boxes move one square at a time when they are selected. Boxes are moved one square at a time when selected & move in the direction of the arrow on them. Boxes can move multiple other boxes which are in front of the direction they are going.
- Starred boxes – these are where you must place the boxes at the end of the stage to beat it. On some stages you have to move a box which is already in the correct position out of position to enable other plays, and then restore that box to its finishing position. Boxes can temporarily move over the wrong-colored starred squares provided they end the level on the correct colored star.
- Warps – going into a warp places you in the other warp location on the stage while otherwise retaining your movement direction. If there is already a block on the exit warp square your other square will not move across until the second square is moved. On some stages you can only warp in one direction, while on other stages you can warp in both directions & may need to repeatedly use the warp feature in both directions.
- Arrows – when a box runs over an arrow on the playing field the box changes its forward moving direction to the direction the arrow points.
- Levels
- This game has 48 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
- You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
- Winning vs losing
- You win a level by getting all the colored boxes onto the star squares of the same color.
- The level design does not wrap, so it is possible to get boxes stuck. If you get stuck or see you made an error click the restart button in the upper right corner to play the stage again.
- Tips
- If you get stuck try to work backward from the destinations, or move a different box first and the play out from there.
- When multiple boxes must get placed onto a single row or column look for what is needed to make them wind up in that order.
- Explore using warps early to see how they impact the level mechanics.
- If you get a box stuck near the edge or move it in a direction where you can not move it again don’t be afraid to start the level over again. Some levels can take many tries to beat.
