• Starting the Game
  • Choose a language.

      • Other keys
        • Use the spacebar to switch places with a box.
          • The number of times you press depends on the number on the box.
          • e.g. if you want to reach Box 1, tap once. If you want to reach Box 2, tap twice.
          • The box you currently have selected is highlighted in yellow for a second before you warp.
        • Use the Esc key to exit the game and return you to the welcome screen
        • Use the enter key to return to the language selection screen.

      • Tap on the left and right arrows to move.
      • Tap on the onscreen spacebar to switch places with the box.

  • Basic rules
    • As the wizard, collect all 3 gems wherever they may be.
    • Avoid all the level hazards. Touch then and you die instantly.
    • Once you’ve picked up all the gems, pick up the trophy to automatically clear the level.
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked sequentialy.
      • Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
      • The first few levels act as a tutorial for the game.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • There are 40 levels in this game.
      • Each time you reload the game, you automatically start at the latest level you’ve unlocked.
      • You can’t replay previously beat levels without resetting your game progress and starting the game over again from the first level.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by collecting all 3 gems and then safely making it to the trophy cup.
      • You lose a level by running into spikes or other sharp hazards.
      • Depending on how you move it is possible to get stuck.
      • If you get stuck you can replace the Escape key and then restart the level.
      • This game offers unlimited continues.
  • Level features
    • Boxes
      • Boxes are the most important feature in many levels.
        • They can serve as platforms to get to higher up places.
        • Boxes can also be used to press down buttons and keep doors open for the wizard.
      • The wizard can move boxes to help him accomplish tasks in one of two ways.
        • The wizard can, of course, swap places with the boxes using magic.
        • Besides teleporting, the wizard can also push the boxes to the desired position.
        • Boxes can be stacked atop each other & pushed across each other.
      • Learn how to use the boxes strategically to get to where you need to go.
    • Trampoline buttons
      • These appear in many levels, usually above ledges that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to jump over.
      • These spring-loaded platforms help you jump up higher as needed.
      • In addition to the yellow trampoline buttons there are also black squares which take time to charge up.
        • The black buttons often require you to place a box on them to activate a switch.
        • As the box bounces on the black squares it may repeatedly activate a switch, requiring you to time other moves around it.
        • You can also stand on the box which is shot upward, and then jump off it to get even higher.
    • Disappearing platforms
      • Yellow disappearing platforms act as temporary ways to climb up places.
      • You cannot stay in them for long, as they disappear.
      • If you fall off them, you must wait until they reappear to use them again.
    • Buttons
      • Buttons can appear above or below the wizard. They open doors.
      • The wizard needs to jump onto or walk over them to press them.
      • Some buttons stay pressed when hit, while others need to be weighed down.
    • Balance platforms
      • These platforms work in pairs that move in opposite directions. Stand on one, and the other sinks down.
      • Much like disappearing platforms, they provide a challenging way to ascend up the higher parts of the level
      • To use them, stand on the lower one, then jump toward the higher one to use it as a step.
    • Spikes
      • Spikes are the chief hazard in this game. Avoid them at all costs.
      • Most spikes are fixed, but some stages also have moving spikes which move in a regular pattern.
  • Tips
    • Some levels require you to go back and forth many times.
      • Plan your route strategically to minimize the number of times you have to cross tricky areas so that you lower your odds of dying.
      • Levels are not timed, so look over the level layout before moving so you can plan your route.
    • If you make an error don’t be afraid to restart the level again.
    • When boxes are hanging from chains you can use the boxes as fixed platforms in the sky.
      • After you switch places with the box it will fall & you can’t use it in the sky.
      • Be aware that when you switch places with a hanging box you will fall to the ground below where the box was hanging. In some cases you’ll need to quickly move to one side or the other to avoid spikes below.
