How to Play
Shoot and kill at least 10 enemies in each level to advance to the next level.
- Starting the Game
- Click the green start button.
- Game Controls
- Touchscreen
- The movement control pad is on the lower left corner of the screen.
- The A, B, C and V buttons are in the lower right corner of the screen.
- A shoots your gun.
- B throws grenades.
- C enters the empty tank.
- V exits the tank.
- Keyboard
- You can move your character using the arrow keys on your keyboard.
- The spacebar fires your gun. Your gun shoots straight in whatever direction you are facing.
- The G button shoots grenades. Grenades typically shoot roughly straight in whatever direction you are facing with a slight turn. The last grenade typically has significantly more curve to it though, almost as though it is programmed to be a dud.
- Strategy
- Killing Enemies (general advice)
- You have to kill 10 enemies to exit each level.
- Your current kill count shows at the top center of the screen.
- Generally when fighting it is best to attack each individual enemy on an isolated basis so you have less odds of getting hit and need only avoid shots from one direction.
- Cover
- Both you and the enemies can shoot through trees.
- Neither can’t shoot through the rock formations on level 4.
- Enemies take multiple shots to kill. A soldier might take 4 or 5 shots where a tank might take 20 or 30.
- When you kill an enemy you can pick up coins and grenades.
- The tanks are worth far more coins than the soldiers are, however the coins can’t be used for anything.
- You can carry a maximum of 20 grenades and they stay with you between levels or until you use them.
- Your power bar is shown at the top of the screen on the left.
- Soldiers only take a small part of your health bar with each hit.
- Tanks take a huge chunk of your health bar with each hit.
- Killing Soldiers
- In most cases you are better off fighting soldiers from afar rather than close up.
- It is much easier for the computer’s soldiers to shoot at an angle or move slightly than it is for you to do so (especially if you are using a keyboard).
- When you walk toward an enemy and shoot sometimes you will not be able to shoot until you are not moving toward them.
- If you shoot enemies from afar you have more time to adjust your placement to avoid their shots.
- You can kill soldiers with a single grenade, but when you kill them that way you do not get coins or grenades from them.
- Killing Tanks (throughout the level)
- When you kill tanks via shooting you have the ability to shoot longer than the attack range of the tank for almost all tanks except those at the end of the level.
- Grenades are not particularly effective on tanks because you need to shoot many of them to kill a tank and the range of grenades makes it easy for them to hit you.
- Killing the Top 3 Tanks (end of level)
- If you have already killed 10 enemies then you can move past these tanks without killing them and exit at the top of the screen.
- Unlike the other tanks in the level, these tanks have a longer shooting range than you do, so you have to shoot a few times, move, shoot a few times, move, etc.
- If you want to destroy these tanks focus on destroying one of them and then destroying the other 2 from a parallel plane after the first one is destroyed.
- Using the Tank
- When you go near the empty tank and click C you start driving it.
- The tank automatically moves up the screen unless it is stuck. You can only control if it moves left or right.
- The tank can run over walking soldiers. This kills them and add to your level kill total, but you do not get any coins when you kill them that way.
- You can press Z to exit the tank, though you can only enter and exit it once.
- The tank can get stuck, forcing you to press V to exit it and when you do there will likely be enemies in every direction, making it harder to fight them off without getting hit.
- In general I prefer to kill enemies one at a time via gun shot or grenade rather than using the tank.
