Cashier Simulator Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • The following controls are located below the welcome screen, from left to right:
    • Leaderboard button: This shows you the game’s current score rankings.
    • Customization button: This shows you the customization options you’ve unlocked.
    • Groceries button: This shows you the grocery items you’ve unlocked.
  • Select the gear button on the bottom right corner to open the following options, from the top downward:
    • Sound switch: Use this to turn the game’s sound effects on or off.
    • Music switch: Use this to do the same to the game’s music.
    • Timed Mode Switch: Use this to toggle between timed and untimed modes.
    • Currency List: Use this to switch between the U.S. dollar (USD) and the British pound (BPD).
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and best scores.
    • Keep track of the money you’ve earned on the top right corner of the screen.

    • With your mouse, left click on the numbers to select.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to select.

  • Basic rules
    • Tabulating the purchases
      • Type in the price of each item the customer brings.
        • The top left corner of the cashier’s display will show you how many items you need to ring up.
        • Select Clear to remove the price if it is incorrect.
        • When you’re done, select the plus button to add another item.
      • If you have multiple items, do the following:
        • You can use one of two methods to input the price:
          • Use the barcode scanner to automatically input the price on the cash register.
          • Type in the numbers as you would with regular items.
        • Select the x button, then choose the number of items the customer is buying.
        • To complete the entry, press the plus button.
      • When you’ve punched in all the items’ prices, select Total to sum up the price.
      • Once you’re done, it’s time to choose a mode of payment.
        • Type in the value of all the bills and coins shown by the customer, then select Pay to complete the transaction.
        • If the customer is paying via a card, select Card.
    • Processing payments
      • Cash payments
        • Once you’ve punched in the amount the customer will be paying, select the bills and coins that add up to the customer’s change.
        • If the customer pays exact change, you don’t need to do anything.
        • You can use an assortment of currency denominations (bills and coins) to provide change.
        • When you’re finished, select Done on the bottom center.
      • Card payments
        • When paying with debit cards, you must also punch in the customer’s PIN.
          • Select and drag the debit card to the card reader as indicated. The PIN appears above the terminal.
          • Type in the PIN.
          • If you make a mistake:
            • Select the yellow arrow button to delete numbers one at a time.
            • Select the red X button to clear everything.
          • Once you’ve punched it in, select the green check to finalize the sale.
        • Credit payments are simpler. Select and drag the credit card to the top of the card reader.
    • Processing the receipt
      • Left click or tap at the receipt and drag it to the customer.
      • Once this is done, a new customer will take their place. Keep playing until you’ve served all the customers of the level.
    • Completing the level
      • Each level has a specific number of customers to serve.
      • You have a limited number of seconds to complete the level. This is indicated by the timer on the top center of the game screen.
      • Each time you finish a level, you receive coins.
  • Products:
    • You start the game with a handful of products.
    • As you move through the levels, you’ll see more items.
    • Check out the groceries button to see the items you’ve unlocked.
  • Star ratings
    • Your star ratings are dependent on how fast you work.
    • The more time is left on the timer
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence.
      • Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
    • There are 160 levels in this game.
  • Prize Wheel
    • Select Start to spin the wheel.
      • You’ll receive whatever amount of cash the wheel stops at.
      • The highest prize you can win is the jackpot. This amount is show at the top center of the screen.
    • You can spin again after 1 day.
  • Coins and customization
    • You earn coins from each level you finish.
      • The better your performance, the higher your payout will be.
      • Although this game does provide an option to gain more coins from watching ads, this is currently disabled in our version of the game.
    • Select the Customization button to open the shop
      • You can buy 3 types of customizations:
        • New customers
        • New cash registers
        • New store backgrounds
      • Select the tabs to switch between the types of customization options.
      • Scroll down each tab to view all the available customizations.
