Coffee Drip Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

  • Basic rules
    • Dig through the coffee grounds to create a path for the espresso to fall.
    • Reach the coffee cup at the bottom to clear the level.
    • In later levels, you must contend with moving hazards.

      • Levels where you collected all the coffee beans are indicated with 3 beans on the level selection screen.
  • Hazards
    • Wall protrusions
      • Because the coffee droplets move downward, horizontal platforms of any kind can stop them in their tracks.
      • Parts of the wall that stick out horizontally in later levels.
    • Wheels
      • Wheels serve as an obstacle.
      • They may push some droplets away from the rest of the group, preventing them from flowing down.
    • Lava plates
      • Some of these are fixed, while others move from side to size.
      • If the coffee droplets hit them, they evaporate.
    • Gates
      • Some later levels have coffee gates that block the flow of coffee.
      • These gates can be opened by pouring 3 drops of coffee into a nearby pouch with a key.
  • Scoring
    • Each drop of coffee is worth 100 points.
    • Every coffee bean you infuse with at least 5 drops of coffee is worth an extra 300 points.
    • The in-game option of doubling your score by watching ads is currently disabled.
  • Tips
    • When you are not dealing with moving platforms you can use gravity to your advantage and have the drops move quickly through the level.
      • Make rounded bottoms to access beans around hard to reach corners.
      • Start digging from further away areas and then dig up to where the droplets started.
    • Moving platforms
      • When you are dealing with moving platforms it is best to clear out the downstream path in advance so that when you pass the platform the droplets do not get stuck.
      • Try to have the droplets rest just above the platform’s path on either side and then clear out the last part of the path just as the platform passes.
      • In many cases you can break your droplets into smaller batches by segmenting their flow with some on each side of the screen, or by getting some stuck in a higher area & then bringing them down after moving the first batch.
