Colors and Magnets Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the bottom right corner of the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • To the left of the play button are the following controls (from left to right):
    • Select the speaker button to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
    • Select the enlarge button to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click and drag the large white circle to move it.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and swipe to move the large white circle.
  • Controls and indicators (bottom row, left to right)
    • Box rating
    • Speaker button
    • Enlarge button
    • Grid button: Returns you to the level selection screen
    • Reset button: Starts the level from the beginning
    • Play button: Proceed to the enxt level
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • The white ball moves from one end to the next.
      • Something like a wall or a platform must stop it in its tracks to have it change course.
      • Plan a path around the level to collect all the smaller colored balls.
    • Before the white ball can collect anything, it must change color to match the color of the orb being picked up.
      • To change its color, it must hit a colored tile on the wall.
      • The ball must change to a different color before it can pick up any other balls.
  • Ratings
    • Your level rating is measured in squares. The highest rating is 3 squares.
    • To get the highest level rating, you must finish the level using the fewest possible number of moves.
    • The indicators on the bottom left corner show you what your current rating is for the level.
    • You can still beat a level with a zero rating.
  • Levels
    • All levels are all playable at the start of the game.
    • There are 18 levels in this game.
    • You can replay previously beat levels at any time to try to improve your level rating.
  • Tips
    • When you go through the white balls with a hollow middle those clear out the color of your ball.
    • If you are having trouble accessing certain balls or color pad magnets try to work backward to figure out your approach strategy.
      • You can run over other colored balls on your path without adversely impacting your color.
      • You can’t hit other paint color magnet pads while attempting to collect a ball or you will reset your ball color.
        • You can move adjacently to other colored pads, but can not move directly into them.
      • Be sure you do not go through a white ball with a hollow middle or it will strip away your color.
    • Blocks as redirects
      • Dark blue blocks in the middle of the field can be used as stops to redirect your path.
      • Light blue blocks allow you to stop on them from any direction & then change your direction from there.
