Crashy Cat Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the game’s welcome screen.
  • Select the blue button at the bottom center of the game’s welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Initially only the first level is unlocked.
    • Each of the 24 levels is unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically stores your game progress including beat levels and star ratings on each.
  • The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right & two buttons along the bottom for reading game developer information and playing more games.

  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click to select anywhere on the game to break the platform the cat is standing on.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen anywhere with a finger to break the platform the cat is standing on.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Across the top of the screen it shows what level number you are on, how many of the 3 stars you have obtained (the white stars turn yellow) on the current play, the level select button, and a sound control button.
    • The level select screen shows how many stars you earned on each level.
• Game Play
  • Falling
    • You can not move left or right other than by standing on a moving platform.
    • Your path is determined by when you click to break the platforms you are standing on.
    • If a platform below you is moving be sure to give it a bit of lead time when you break your platform so that by the time you fall vertically even with the platform below you are horizontally aligned.
    • Typically you can fall one platform at a time and regroup, but there are a couple spots where the platform or moving blades will hit into you if you stand & so you need to make 2 consecutive moves on those levels.
  • Levels
    • This game has 24 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
    • You can earn up to a 3-star rating on each level by running through all the stars on the level.
      • You only keep the stars you have collected if you land on the ground safely.
      • If you play once and get 2 stars then when you play that level again you will still need to get all 3 stars on it to earn a 3-star rating.
    • You can replay previously beat levels at any time to try to earn a higher star rating on them.
      • If you are struggling to earn a 3-star rating on a level just play through the remaining levels and come back to it.
      • Levels further into the game have longer falls, faster moving platforms, and more obstacles. If you can beat the later levels then the earlier levels will be far easier when you come back to them.
  • Dying
    • You die if:
      • you fall onto a spike
      • you fall onto a spinning blade
      • a spinning blade runs into you
      • your fall has you land on a platform where you skipped another intermediate landing platform in between the two
    • This game offers unlimited continues.
    • Whenever you die you start back at the beginning of the level you are on.
