How to Play

Fill all 25 squares in the grid with numbers. The placement of the numbers must follow the logic provided by the game (see below).

  • Starting the Game
    • On the welcome screen, select the two opening options to begin the game:
      • Start with 1 allows you to begin the puzzle with 1 placed in its correct location.
      • Start random chooses a different number for you to start with.
    • Select Help to learn more about the rules of the game.
    • Select the drop down menu on the top right corner to choose the game’s language:
      • English
      • Dutch
      • Spanish
      • Portuguese
      • French
      • Italian
      • German
      • Hindu/English
      • Polish
      • Turkish
    • On the bottom right corner are the following buttons:
      • Gear button: Clear your previous progress
      • Social media button: Share the game on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest.
      • Information button: Learn more about the game’s developers.
      • Download button: Download the game in your device and play offline.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game’s progress.
  • Game Controls
    • Desktop
      • With your mouse, left click and drag on any of the numbers on the side to place them in the grid.
    • Touchscreen devices
      • Tap and swipe on the numbers on edge of the grid to place them on the puzzle.
    • Controls & indicators
      • The game’s indicators are located on the right side of the screen. From the top, these are as follows:
        • The present date
        • The timer
        • The first row of buttons, from left to right:
          • Undo button: Remove your previous action.
          • Pause button: Momentarily stop the game’s timer.
          • Reset button: Returns everything to the way it was when you began.
        • The second row of buttons, form left to right:
          • Music button: Toggle the game’s music.
          • Sound effects button: Toggle the game’s audio cues.
          • Enlarge button: Switch between windowed and full screen modes
  • Game Play
    • Generating puzzles
      • The game generates a different puzzle for every day of the year.
      • You can choose up to 365 to 366 different puzzles for each type
      • You can play again by choosing the puzzle of a different day on the calendar or by selecting next on the winning screen.
    • Objectives
      • Fill a 5 x 5 grid with the numbers 1 to 25.
        • The numbers must be connected to one another in a continuous line.
        • Numbers in a sequence must be 1 tile away from one another.
          • These numbers can be one space away above, below, to the sides, and to the diagonals of the next number in a sequence.
          • The paths of the numbers can cross one another, as long as they’re only one square away from the next one in the sequence.
        • Placement of the numbers must also follow the proper logic.
      • The numbers must be placed in the correct order to finish the puzzle.
        • A number placed in its correct logical place will remain white.
        • An incorrectly placed number will turn red.
        • Numbers that form a sequence will connect to one another with a gray line.
    • Rules
      • The numbers can only be one square away from their predecessor in the sequence.
      • Numbers that appear on the sides of the board must be placed along the rows.
      • Numbers that appear on the top and bottom must go on the columns.
      • Numbers in the corners must go on the diagonals.
    • Tips
      • Find out where your end point (i.e. 25) will be. this will help narrow down the path you need to create.
      • Use the process of elimination and trial and error to find the best path for the numbers.
  • Target Audience
    • The game is suited for people of all ages who like numbers & logic puzzle games.
    • The game has no adult themed content.
