• Starting the Game

  • Controls & indicators

      • The first row of buttons, from left to right:

• Game Play
  • The game generates a different puzzle for every day of the year.
    • This amounts to between 365 to 366 different puzzles for each type of grid.
    • You can play a different puzzle by selecting a different date on the calendar.
    • Alternately, you can select next after finishing your previous game.
  • Objectives
    • Your goal is to fill the grid with checks and crosses.
      • Place 3 check marks in every row and column. The rest must be filled with crosses.
      • You start with some of the crosses already placed.
      • Deduce the location of the rest of the checks and crosses through the game’s rules.
    • You win when you’ve filled in all but one space in the grid correctly.
  • Rules
    • Only 3 check marks are present in any row or column.
    • No check can be adjacent to one another, either horizontally or vertically.
  • Tip
    • Use the starting position to fill in the first few checks and crosses.
    • Work one row at a time.
    • When in doubt, place in a cross.
    • Use the query button as often as you can. There’s no penalty for checking your answers in this game.
