Build down while alternating suit color on the tableau & build up by suit to the 4 foundations.
- Starting the Game
- Select the Play button on the game’s welcome screen in the lower left.
- In the lower right are buttons for game Help and More Games.
- The upper left corner of the welcome screen has a language select dropdown.
- The upper right corner has buttons for sharing the game on social media, reading game developer information, and installing the game as a web app on your device for quick play.
- Game Controls
- Desktop
- Drag a card or a descending run of cards which alternates suit colors from one column to another on the tableau.
- Players can drag cards back and forth between tableau columns & the free cells, but any cards which are dragged onto a foundation can not be moved back into play.
- Touchscreen devices
- Tap the screen with a finger to select a card and drag it where you want to play it.
- Controls & indicators
- At the top of the left column the game shows the date you are playing and how long you have been playing the current level.
- You can select other dates from the calendar if you wish to play the deal for a day other than today.
- Under the date and play time there is a button to turn autoplay to foundations on or off.
- At the bottom of the left column there are 6 buttons for undoing moves, pausing the game, restarting the level, controlling game music, controlling game sounds, and switching to full screen mode.
- Game Play
- Deal
- This game uses a single deck of 52 cards.
- All cards are dealt directly to the tableau face up across 8 columns. 4 columns have 7 cards each and 4 columns have 6 cards each.
- Playing
- Tableau moves
- You can only move the bottom cards of a stack on the tableau.
- To move more than one card at a time you need either empty columns on the tableau or empty free cells.
- Cards you move must be in descending incremental order while alternating suit color.
- If you want to move a tall stack but do not have enough spaces to move it at once sometimes you can move it by breaking it down into smaller stacks & moving it across other columns on the tableau a bit at a time
- In this game you can place any card or any sequential descending run of cards that alternates suit colors onto empty columns on the tableau.
- Some games require a King to be the root card on empty columns, but this game does not.
- Creating an empty column early in the game and getting many Aces to the foundations early opens up a lot of other play opportunities.
- Building foundations
- Once cards have been played to a foundation you can not bring them back into the game.
- The game automatically moves some cards to the foundations when it knows you will not need to use those cards to make sequential runs on the tableau.
- You can also manually move some other cards to the foundations to enable other plays.
- Free cells
- You can store cards temporarily in the free cells to enable other plays, but should try to keep those cells empty most of the time.
- The free cells combine with empty columns to allow you to make large moves. For example, if you had an empty column you were not moving cards to and had 4 empty free cells you could move 9 cards at a time (2*4+1).
- Scoring
- This game does not show scores, but tracks how long it took you to beat each daily game.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like Freecell Solitaire card games.
- If you like playing more than 1 game per day we also offer a Freecell game which uses this same green felt design but does away with the daily calendar aspect.
- The game has no adult themed content.
