- Puzzle generation
- The game has a new puzzle for each calendar day.
- You can have up to 365 to 366 variations per grid size.
- You can play a new game by doing the following:
- Select next on win screen.
- Select the present date and choose a different day.
- Basic gameplay
- Fill the grid with black tiles (boxes).
- Between each of those boxes is a white tile (square).
- The numbers of the sides of the grid indicate the number of cells that are boxes or squares.
- Each row and column has a different limit of boxes.
- If a row has a second number, it represents two groups of boxes separated by a single square.
- Use a cross to mark a space as a possible square.
- Strategy
- Relying entirely on guesswork to fill in the puzzle is an exercise in futility.
- One mistake based on guesswork will throw off your entire strategy.
- Although you can use the query button to check your answers, you must use this sparingly. It will take too long to check each answer you make at random.
- You can use the query button to eliminate possible wrong answers.
- Use the numbers as guides.
- Often, this means working with one row or column at a time.
- Because the first cell in a row or column would be a black or white space, start the blocks from the center onward.
- Compare the patterns in intersecting rows and columns
- Use contradictions to eliminate ambiguities. If two cells can be a box, find out which of the two will cause the row or column to be in error. The one that doesn’t cause an error is the correct answer.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for people of all ages who like coloring games & simple logic puzzle games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
