This is a Plants vs Zombies inspired 4-stage fort defense game where you shoot waves of oncoming zombies using various towers. The mayor of Beantown banned all foods except mushy peas & when people eat them they turn to zombies. Help protect Dennis & Gnasher from the zompea invasion using over a half-dozen different blam-tastic gadgets.
- Build towers to fight off waves of oncoming zombies.
- Use income earned from defeating zombies in early waves to buy more gadgets.
- If you have enough coin to fill up all the tower spots you can tear down weaker towers and replace them with stronger ones.
- Never underestimate the power of a well placed whoopie cushion!

- Game Strategy
- Towers
- You start the first level off with 2 tower options: the pea shooter and the sticky splat bubbler.
- As you advance through the game you unlock additional towers.
- The Water Balloon Mortar and Super Slop Bomb are unlocked in level 2.
- The Custard Pie Cannon and Guff-o-Matic gadgets are unlocked in level 3.
- The Surprise Smacker and Super Sonic Speaker are unlocked in level 4.
- Each tower type, cost, and roll is shown below.
- Tower Collection
- Pea Shooter – low damage rapid shooting tower which costs 100 coins.
- Sticky Splat Bubbler – slow down tower which exposes zombies to more damage from nearby attack towers. This tower costs 150 coins.
- Water Balloon Mortar – slower firing medium-damage tower with long range. It costs 200 coins.
- Super Slop Bomb – high impact short range tower which costs 300 coins.
- Custard Pie Cannon – slow down tower which costs 250 coins.
- Guff-o-Matic – high impact tower which costs 400 coins.
- Surprise Smacker – high impact tower which costs 650 coins.
- Super Sonic Speaker – super high impact tower which costs 1,000 coins.
- Zombies
- Each zombie has a health bar above it which shows you how much energy it has left.
- Weaker zombies are worth 10 coins and stronger zombies can be worth more.
- Waves
- The top of the screen shows what wave you are on out of the total wave count and how much health the fort has left.
- You should continue to build towers during the middle of waves rather than waiting until they have passed to build.
- Towers tear and down and build almost instantly, so you should feel free to build new towers and replace towers during the middle of battle.
- Star ratings & level strategy
- You score star ratings based on how much health your tower has left at the end of the level.
- You can beat a level and unlock the next even if you get a rating below 3 stars.
- In general it is best to build towers earlier in the zombie walking path than later in their walking path.
- If you have many towers built next to each other it can be a good idea to build a slow down tower just before them so the enemies have to absorb a lot of damage when they walk past.
- If the path enemies walk on splits try to first fill the tower slots that all enemies have to walk past and then try to use range attack towers that can hit both paths in the split part before building many towers which can only hit one path.
- It can make sense to start the early waves filling up squares with some of the weaker towers until you get through the first few waves and fill up all the tower placements, then progressively work to tear down weaker towers and replace them with stronger towers.
- A tower which costs 100 to build only costs you 25 to tear down once you get the 75 rebate.
- The Surprise Smacker is strong, but it takes a while to reload in between hits, so it is best off close to the fort as a final defense.
- As far as value for money the Guff-o-Matic is a great gadget as it can hit 2 squares away, does a couple units of damage, and can rapidly re-fire. I tended to rely heavily on the Guf-o-Matic rather than building out many of the Surprise Smacker or Super Sonic Speaker gadgets.
