• Starting the Game
  • Select the play button on the center of the welcome screen.
  • To learn the controls of the game, select the question mark button at the upper left corner of the screen.
    • You also receive a brief tutorial upon starting the game.
  • The game presents a dialog box that discusses the game’s backstory and objectives.
  • Toggle the audio via the sound button on the upper right corner.
  • Once the game begins, you can temporarily stop the game by selecting the pause button on the upper left corner.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Move side to side via the left and right arrow keys on the keyboard.
    • Alternatively, left click on the desired lane to move.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on any of the lanes to move.
• Game Play
  • Basic
    • Collect as many flyer shreds as you can before time runs out.
      • To clear a level, collect (or exceed) the target number of shreds listed on the top corner of the screen.
      • If you fail to collect the right number of shreds, it’s game over.
      • If you do, you proceed with the next level.
    • If you hit something, you slow down.
    • In later levels, you meet more of Dennis’ friends.
      • Each time you hit something, they disappear.
      • You can reunite with them by running into them when they reappear on the route.
      • You may bump into an object early in the level with little consequence and later rejoin with your friends on the level, but you should ensure you do not bump into anything near the end of the level as the multiplier has a huge impact on your level score.
    • The game has five levels.
      • In the first four levels you collect newspaper scraps so other citizens will not see the sausage advertisements.
      • In the last level, you must instead collect sausages.
  • Strategy
    • As your chain of friends grows longer you have to make your lane switches earlier in order to avoid having one of the following characters bump into an obstacle.
      • If you are in an edge lane you can speed up the tail’s move across by moving over two lanes then moving back to the middle, though the more movements you make the easier it is to make an accident.
    • Whenever you move to a side lane to collect something try to move as quickly as possible back to the center lane so that you can evade in either direction & so that if you need to pick something up the item is never more than a single move away.

  • Scoring
    • You receive points for every flyer or sausage you collect.
    • All subsequent flyers collected in each level adds to your high score.
    • You gain a multiplier bonus for every friend still with you at the end of the level.
      • For instance, 3 friends still with you multiplies your level score by 3.
      • You may bump into an object early in the level with little consequence and later rejoin with your friends on the level, but you should ensure you do not bump into anything near the end of the level as the multiplier has a huge impact on your level score.
      • This adds to your total high score.
