Drop Slime Adventure Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select play on the middle right to begin.
  • Choose a level to get started.
  • We recommend reading this walkthrough before playing the game.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard
      • Use the left and right arrow key to move left and right.
      • Use the up arrow key to jump.
      • Use the Z key to do the following commands.
        • Select Z once to fire a drop slime.
        • Select Z again to teleport your character to the location of the drop slime.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Although this game might load on some touchscreen devices, its controls were optimized for desktops with keyboards.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Both indicators are found on the top right corner. They are as follows:
      • Menu button: Brings you back to the level selection screen
      • Music button: Turns the game’s audio on and off
• Game Play
  • Level selection
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence. Only the first 2 levels are available at the start of the game.
    • Each time you play a level, you unlock the next level in the sequence.
    • You don’t need to finish the level to unlock the next one. Use the level select button in the upper right corner to skip ahead to the next level.
    • You can replay any level you want.
  • Basic rules
    • Get to the other side:
      • You cannot jump far enough to reach the end of the level.
      • Use the drop slimes to catapult yourself to a different part of the level.
    • Using the slime
      • Use the Z key to fire a slime.
      • Drop the slime somewhere as close to the teleportation pad as possible.
      • Teleport by using the Z key. You will move to wherever the slime lands. Be sure it’s nowhere near spikes or enemies.
      • In some levels, the best way to get around is by dropping the slime midair. This way, you’ll be able to jump toward your desired location rather than fall short and die.
    • Completing the level
      • Keep hopping around using the slime until you reach the teleportation pad.
      • Enter the pad to finish the level.
  • Enemies and hazards
    • Death
      • Touching any of the hazards kills you instantly. Luckily, you have infinite lives here.
      • You will leave a cartoonish bloody mess of blood around if you keep failing, though.
    • Hazards
      • Hazards consist of walking enemies, moving hazards, and stationary dangers like spikes.
      • Sometimes, you must wait for the enemies and hazards to move away before you can start to shoot.
      • Another hazard, the box of explosives, will detonate if you touch it.
        • There is a short delay before the box explodes.
        • Move away from the box before it does.
  • Target Audience
    • The game is suited for players who like platform jumper games.
      • This game has pixelated cartoon blood that may not be suited for very young children.
    • Other than the above the game has no adult themed content.
