How to Play
Match pairs of cards whose values form the number 13. Clear out the entire stack of cards before the timer runs out.
- Starting the Game
- On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
- Select Help to learn the game’s rules.
- Select High Scores to view the game’s leaderboard.
- Use the gear button on the bottom right corner to open the following options:
- Music button: Turns the game’s music on and off
- Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio effects on and off
- Reset button: Clear your previous game progress
- Use the drop-down list on the bottom left corner of the screen to choose the game’s language.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

- Controls and indicators
- The game’s controls and indicators are located on the right side of the screen. From the top they are as follows:

- Game Play
- Deal
- Cards are not dealt with the standard Pyramid Solitaire format, but instead a unique layout on each level.
- Most cards appear in obvious stacks where you can see which cards are underneath them, though in some cases some cards are directly atop each other & it is no way to know the second or third card is there until you remove the card(s) directly above it.
- Players are dealt a number of cards to the reserves and 3 Jokers which can be used on each stage.
- Basic rules
- Clearing cards
- Match pairs of cards of any color or suit whose sums equal 13.
- For the purposes of this game, the following cards have these values
- The king’s value is 13 and it can be removed by itself.
- Valid pairs are Ace-Queen, 2-Jack, 3-10, 4-9, 5-8, 6-7.
- Joker cards can be paired with any card.
- Only face-up cards can be cleared. Turn any face down card face up by removing the cards on top of them.
- Undos
- Use the undo button to reverse your last action.
- You have no limit to the number of times you can select the undo button.
- Undos cost 200 points.
- Dealing
- Deal cards by selecting the stock or by selecting one of the Jokers.
- You cannot shuffle back previously dealt cards.
- By pairing cards, you can recover the last cards you dealt with.
- You can pair the rightmost card with any of the cards on the stack.
- Jokers
- You have 3 Jokers you can use in each level of this game.
- Use a Joker to match any card that doesn’t have a matching pair.
- Use these as a last resort when you’re running short of cards, or early in the game when you need to remove a card which will turn over many other cards on the tableau.
- Levels
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- At the start of the game, you can only play the first level.
- Finish one level to unlock the next one.
- Once you finish, the game will take you back to the level selection screen.
- There are 40 levels in this game.
- You are given 3 minutes to beat each level.
- You can replay any of the levels you’ve unlocked.
- If you lose a level you can try again.
- Strategy
- Try to use cards on the tableau to match with each other whenever possible.
- If you have 2 parallel paths on the tableau you can match one should generally preference matching the cards which have the most cards underneath them or the card that when removed will turn the highest number of remaining cards face up.
- If a card on the tableau has many cards underneath it that will be turned up when it is discarded don’t be afraid to use a Joker early.
- Scoring
- The game has 2 scores:
- Each level has its own level score:
- You earn points based on the cards you remove:
- Pairs of cards are worth 100 points
- Kings and cards paired with jokers are worth 50 points.
- You also gain bonus points from finishing the level.
- You receive 5 points for every second left on the timer.
- You also gain 500 points for every unused Joker and 100 points for every card remaining in your reserves.
- You can see your level’s best score on the level select screen, along with your total game score.
- Your total score is based on all your level scores.
- To increase your level score, play a new level or replay an old one.
- Replaying an old level will only change your total score if you earned more points than the last tie you played.
- You can save your score to the leaderboard if you meet the following conditions:
- You finish the entire game.
- You end a level in a game over.
- If you end in a game over and try again, the game will reset.
