Farm Rescue Bubble Shooting Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select the white and orange START button at the bottom of the game’s loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Select the white and green START button in the center of the game’s welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right, a game developer information button in the lower left, and a more games button in the lower right.

    • Move your mouse cursor to aim & use the left click button to shoot.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger and drag your finger to aim. Release to shoot.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The level goal screen shows which animals you need to remove from the stack & how many of each animal need to be removed, along with how many power ups you have in inventory.
    • Your current bubble is shown in the farmer’s hands & the up next bubble is shown left of the farmer.
    • Your remaining bubble count you have to beat the current level is shown right of the farmer.
    • If you have power ups equipped those are shown below the farmer.
    • Across the top of the screen the game shows how many of each animal type you have collected as part of the goal for that animal. There is also a pause button in the upper right corner.
    • The level select screen shows which levels you have unlocked and the star rating earned on each level.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • The goal of this game is to “rescue” a variety of farm animals from each stage.
    • Animals are rescued from the stack when you shoot a bubble into the stack to make a series of three or more adjacent identical bubbles.
    • You are shown the current bubble along with the up next bubble.
    • Your bubbles can be shot directly at the stack or bounced off the walls.
    • When the bubbles that connect a bubble to the stack are removed then that bubble and all bubbles below it also fall off the stack.
      • The bubbles you match as part of a set and the other bubbles which fall off all count toward reaching your level goals.
  • Levels
    • This game has 80 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back to replay previously beat levels at any time.
      • Each stage has a unique board layout, level removal goal, and bubble inventory count.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win by reaching at least one of the level goals by the time you run out of bubbles.
      • You lose if either you run out of bubbles without reaching the level goal, or if the bubble stack makes it to the bottom of the screen before you reach at least one of the goals.
      • This game offers unlimited continues.
    • Star ratings
      • You earn a star for each of the 3 stage goals which are stated on the level goal screen.
      • Some levels only have 2 goals. You can earn 3 stars on those levels by beating them with many bubbles remaining or by playing through them multiple times.
      • You can replay previously beat levels to try to earn a better star rating on them.
      • The game can be completed with as low as a single-star rating on each stage.
  • Power ups
    • This game has 3 power ups which are earned periodically after beating levels. When you get bonus power ups you are given 3 of that type of power up.
      • Enhanced aim – provides a longer aim guideline showing where your shot will go.
      • Swap arrows – swap the current bubble with the up next bubble.
      • Target – pick a bubble from the stack to remove it.
  • Tips
    • Ricochet
      • You can ricochet your shots off the walls.
      • When aiming a ricochet shot it is best to try to skew your shot toward the portion of the bubble stack that has greater clearance to give yourself a larger margin of error.
    • Look at the next up bubble when determining to shoot the current bubble.
      • If you have a bubble that is not easy to play to make a set, try to move it out of the way onto a side edge of the stage or into a position which can be knocked off by the next bubble.
    • Clouds
      • Cloud bubbles can not be matched.
      • You can only remove them by removing the bubbles which connect the cloud to the stack.
      • If some clouds are only connected by a single bubble ensure you make your other shots so that you leave an opening to directly shoot or ricochet a shot at the bubble connecting the clouds to the stack.
    • Power ups
      • When you activate a power up set you keep it equipped through subsequent levels until you use it.
      • You can equip multiple types of power ups at the same time & only use whichever one makes sense for that particular bubble.
