Four Colors Uno Inspired Matching Strategy Card Game

This is a fun online strategy card game based on the classic Uno card game. Each player is given 7 cards at the start. The deck is placed on the middle of the table. Next to the deck is a card facing upward. The first player must match the color or number of the card laid on the table. Succeeding players must also match the color and number of the card laid by the previous player, and so on. Use the action cards to stall your opponent’s moves. And don’t forget to press the 1 button if you have one card left. Otherwise, you must draw 2 cards as penalty. The first player to get rid of all their cards wins. You can play with up to 3 computer controlled opponents in each game.

  • Pay attention to the number and color of the card on the game table.
  • Review your cards. You can only lay down a card of the same number or color.
  • If you have no matching number or color, you must draw one card from the deck.
  • Opponents can lay down action cards that can stop or skip your turn, or add more cards to your hand.
  • When you have one card left, always press the 1 button. Not doing so gives you a 2-card penalty.
  • Laying a Wild Draw Four card lets you change the card color. It forces the next player to draw 4 cards.

  • Strategy
    • This is a matching strategy card game where the first player to get rid of all their cards wins.
      • Each player starts with 7 cards on hand. With each turn, they must match the number or color of the card on the table.
      • There are 4 card colors: red, blue, green, and yellow. Each card color has numbers from 1 to 9.
      • Expect surprises. Opponents can add more cards to your hand or cause you to miss a turn using Action Cards.
    • The objective is to lose all your cards as fast as possible. If you can make your opponents miss their turn or add more cards to their hand, you can get rid of your cards faster.
    • A good tip is to use a Two Forces Card, Skip Card, or Reverse Card when you see the next player with a few cards left. This will stall them from winning.
    • Do not forget to press the 1 button when you have one card left. You’ll get a 2-card penalty if you forget this rule.
    • Make use of Action Cards strategically to your advantage. The game comes with 5 action cards that can stir up the game and setback your opponents. Action cards occur in all four colors, except for Wild Cards that can be placed on any color. Here’s how each Action Card works:
      • Two Forces Card – This looks like a hand holding cards with +2 on the edges. When you put this down, it forfeits a player’s turn and forces them to draw two cards.
      • Skip Card – This looks like a stop sign on the card. When you out this down, the next player loses their turn.
      • Reverse Card – This looks like two arrows going around clockwise. When you put this card down, the next player loses their turn. The turn reverses and goes back to the other player.
      • Wild Card – This is a black card with four colors. It can be placed on any card at any time. It allows you to change the color you want to play.
      • Wild Draw Four Card – This looks like a hand holding 4 colored cards with +4 on the edges. It’s the most powerful card in the deck. When you put this down, it allows you to change the color of the card. It also forces the next player to draw 4 cards from the deck. To use this card, you must have no other alternative moves to play.
    • If you have a several cards of the same color, try to lose them first. It will be harder to lose them later if the color does not come up.
    • A one-on-one game with a computer may be easier to win. Since you’re only focused on one opponent.
    • For the full game play experience, try playing with 3 computer-controlled players. This is harder to win, but is definitely more fulfilling, especially if you beat the computer more than once.
