Frog Rush Popper Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select the TAP TO CONTINUE button on the game loading screen.
  • The welcome screen has 4 buttons in the middle.
    • Top: play game
      • This game has 25 stages in each section with a total of 3 sections of increasing difficulty levels.
      • You have to beat the first 25 stages to unlock the second set & the first 50 stages to unlock the third set.
      • You can score up to 3 stars on each stage depending on how many times it takes you to beat that stage. If you have a low star rating you can replay the level again to try to beat it in fewer tries.

    • Left: gameplay instructions with an interactive walkthrough.

  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to pop a frog or toad.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap a frog or toad with your finger to pop it.
  • Indicators & Controls
    • The upper left corner of the game shows how many moves you have left.
    • The upper right corner shows what level number you are on.
    • The pause button is in the lower right corner.
      • When the game is paused you can choose to resume play, restart current level, control game sound, or go back to the level select screen.

  • Chain reactions
    • When brown toads pop they shoot a single ball in the direction they point.
    • When frogs explode they spray balls in all 4 directions.
      • Frogs come in 3 different sizes.
      • Only the largest size frog pops.
      • Smaller frogs grow to a larger size when they are hit with balls or popped directly.
    • Blue toads inflate all adjacent cells including those diagonally. They inflate the adjacent cells but do not have an impact on anything 2 or more cells away.
    • Rocks stop the flow of the chain reactions.
  • Level difficulty
    • Inside each section you must beat the levels sequentially.
      • In the easy section you can not play level 25 without first beating levels 1 through 24.
      • When you beat all 25 easy levels it unlocks medium. In the medium section you can not play level 50 without first beating levels 26 through 49.
      • When you beat all 25 medium levels it unlocks hard. In the hard section you can not play level 75 without first beating levels 51 through 74.
    • On easy most levels only have a move or two you have to complete and the game is quite easy.
    • On medium the game is slightly challenging.
    • On hard you get 6 moves on the first level, which hints at how much harder the game is.
  • Star Ratings
    • This game rates you not on how many moves it takes you to complete a level, but how many overall tries it takes you to beat a level.
    • If a level takes you many tries to beat it and you have a low star rating then you can go back to that level and play it again and use the exact same strategy which just worked for you to get a 3-star rating on it.
  • Strategy
    • The key to doing well with this game is to try to get multiple frogs just short of exploding next to each other and then set one of them off, enabling the second to blow up & driving a chain reaction.
    • If you want to do double damage to a neighboring frog then you would blow up the nearest frog first so that it hits it and then as it hits another frog on the opposite site that second frog blowing up also hits it again too.
