Geometrical Dash Running Platformer Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select the language you would like to play the game in on the game loading screen. Choose a flag commonly associated with a language. Choices include English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.
  • Click the yellow and blue button in the center of the game’s welcome screen.
    • This will bring up the level select screen. You can click on level 1 to enter it or use the left and right arrows to the sides of the game to scroll through and play other levels.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your level progress & any unlocks you purchased, however whenever you replay a level you start back at the beginning of the level.
  • The welcome screen also contains sound and music control buttons in the upper right corner.
  • Across the bottom of the welcome screen there are 3 buttons to change game language, buy different avatars & ships, and read gameplay information.
    • There are a total of 16 avatars available with 1 unlocked by default and the other 15 available for 1 coin each.
    • There are a total of 8 rockets available with 1 unlocked by default and the other 7 available for 1 coin each.
    • Gameplay info: Tap the screen or press space to jump. But make sure you time your jumps precisely! You can even hold your finger on the screen or hold down space to jump repeatedly. (Or fly up, if you’re in a rocket). Look out for spikes, if you touch them you will be returned to the beginning of the level. There are also many mutators to spice up the experience.

    • You can also use the mouse left click button to jump.
    • The spaceship controls are the same as the box controls, except you press to fly instead of jump.

    • The game has a pause button in the upper right side.
    • While the game is paused you can click on the diamond button to switch to the practice mode instead of normal mode.
    • The level select screen shows how far along you made it through each level.
• Game Play
  • Levels
    • This game has a total of 6 levels.
    • You can play the levels in any order, though the levels get harder as you advance.
      • The first level has platforms and spikes requiring you to single jump in some areas & leave jump pressed for a double jump in other areas.
      • The second level introduces a pad which makes you automatically jump.
      • The third level introduces floating dots that you bounce off of as a double jump if you have jump pressed when you hit into them.
      • The fourth level combines unique sequences of both elements from the second and third levels.
      • The fifth level introduces a warp portal that reverses gravity.
      • The sixth level combines the gravity reversing warp with many of the elements introduced in the second and third levels.
  • Dying
    • Anytime you die you start back at the beginning of the level.
    • You die if you touch any sharp object or run into the side of a platform.
    • This game is exceptionally frustrating and difficult. It is probably the hardest game on our site!

    • Younger children and players with a short temper will find this game frustrating as dying only takes a single hit and the game is quite difficult.
