- Deal
- On the first round players are dealt 30 cards to the tableau across 10 columns of 3. The remaining 22 cards are dealt to the reserves.
- On the second round players are dealt 27 cards to the tableau across 9 columns of 3. The remaining 25 cards are dealt to the reserves.
- On the third round players are dealt 24 cards to the tableau across 8 columns of 3. The remaining 28 cards are dealt to the reserves.
- On the fourth round players are dealt 21 cards to the tableau across 7 columns of 3. The remaining 31 cards are dealt to the reserves.
- On the fifth round players are dealt 18 cards to the tableau across 6 columns of 3. The remaining 34 cards are dealt to the reserves.
- On the sixth round the deal layout changes. The tableau retains 6 columns and 18 cards, but the columns contain 1, 2, 3, 3, 4, and 4 cards respectively.
- On the seventh layout the tableau retains 6 columns and 18 cards. The columns respectively contain 1, 1, 3, 3, 5, and 5 cards.
- On the eighth and final level the tableau uses the normal Klondike solitaire layout with each column having one more card than the prior, though the game has 6 columns instead of 7. 21 cards are dealt to the tableau & 31 cards are in the reserves.
- Playing
- Foundations
- Build the 4 suited foundations in ascending order starting with the Aces.
- The game has an autoplay to foundations feature turned on which can’t be turned off. In some cases this can move cards to the foundation while you still need them to build other stacks on the tableau, which can be a bit frustrating.
- Tableau
- On the tableau build down while alternating suit colors.
- Only Kings or valid runs of cards starting with a King may be placed on an open column on the tableau.
- Reserves
- Reserves are dealt turn 1.
- You can shuffle through the reserves an unlimited number of times.
- Levels
- This game has 8 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
- You can go back and replay previously beat levels to try to earn a better score on them.
- The first level gives you 6:40 to beat it.
- Each subsequent level gives you 20 seconds less to beat it, meaning you must beat the final level in 4:20.
- Strategy
- Since the reserves are turn 1 and you can shuffle through them an unlimited number of times it makes sense to prefer playing cards from the tableau whenever possible so that you turn all the cards on the tableau face up.
- When all cards on the tableau are face up you can rely on the autoplay to foundations feature and rapidly shuffle through the reserves to get the cards all placed on the foundations.
- Since you can only lay Kings (or valid runs of cards starting with a King) to an empty spot on the tableau you should play cards from whichever tableau stack has the most hidden cards underneath it.
- Sometimes the autoplay feature puts cards to the foundation that you still need. Unfortunately there isn’t a way to undo this as you can’t turn off the autoplay feature & there is no undo button. When this happens you may need to restart the level again.
- Scoring
- Your game score is cumulative across levels.
- Each card you move to a foundation is worth 500 points, for a maximum card-based score of 26,000 per level.
- Each second you have remaining when you beat a level is worth 3 points.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like Klondike Solitaire card games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
