Golf With Buddies Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen are the following options:
    • Choose an avatar.
    • Type in your name.
    • Choose from any of the 3 game modes to begin.

      • Viewer button: Shows you the location of the hole
      • Home button: Exits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
• Game Play
  • Setting up
    • Choose a player avatar. You have 10 headshots to choose from.
    • Choose a game mode
      • Select Find Match to pair you with any player available online.
      • Select Private Room to create or enter a private game with a friend.
        • Create a private room by typing in a password of your choice on the space provided.
        • Give this password to your playmates.
        • If your friend gave you a password, type it in the space provided to join the private room.
      • Select Bot Practice to play games against a computer opponent.
    • Choose the number of players
      • You can play a 2- or 4-player game.
  • Basic rules
    • When all the players are ready, press start to begin.
    • Get the golf ball to the hole before the other player does.
    • Be the first to make 10 holes to win.
  • Strokes
    • A successful stroke goes as follows:
      • Left click or tap on the ball to select it, then hold.
      • Pull back and adjust your stroke to the desired direction.
      • The farther you pull back, the stronger your stroke.
      • Release
    • Use just enough force to get the ball moving in the right direction.
      • Strokes that are too strong stand the risk of making the ball ricochet.
      • Sometimes, softer strokes are better suited for the task.
    • Be fast but precise with your strokes to gain an advantage over your opponent.
  • Course features
    • The game is essentially a round of miniature golf.
      • You must direct the ball around a maze.
      • Unlike most mini golf games, you do not have a par for every hole. Use as many or as few strokes as you need.
    • Special pads in each green can help direct the ball into a desired destination. Direct the ball to these pads whenever it is advantageous.
