Goose Dice & Board Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Click on the brown arrow button to start.
  • Select opponents. Either play against friends, or against the computer.
  • Select the number of players. The game supports two to six players.
  • Choose your favorite color.
  • Scroll through the rules to learn about traps and bonuses.
  • Click or tap the brown button to start. The main game screen will appear.
• Game Play & Controls
  • When it is your turn click to roll the dice. The dice rolls automatically for computers
    • The dice will roll for the first player. The game piece will advance the number of squares shown on the dice.
    • The next player clicks the dice in the bottom right corner to roll. Their piece advances the number of squares shown on the dice.
  • Special squares & scenarios
    • If a player’s piece lands on a “x2” goose square, they will advance twice the number shown on the dice.
    • If a player rolls a nine, they keep advancing and will win the game with one throw!
    • A bridge square will advance the same dice score again.
    • A house square, indicated by a nest, will trap you for three turns.
    • A well square will trap you until another player rescues you.
    • A prison square will also trap you until another player rescues you.
    • A maze square will send you backwards a couple squares to square 39.
    • A skull square, indicated by a tombstone, will send you all the way back to the beginning.
    • If you are playing a two player game and one player gets caught in the well whilst the other player gets caught in the checkboard (jail), the game ends. There will be no one to rescue either player!
    • The finish line is square 63. You must land on it exactly to win.
      • If you are on square 60 and roll a 5 you will go to the finish line and then bounce back two squares back to square 61.
      • This bounce-back feature can bounce you back to square 58, which sends you back to square 1 when that happens.
  • Sound can be toggled on and off by clicking the loud speaker icon at the top right.
  • The player board at the top left indicates which player takes a turn.
