- Game Play
- Level design
- Each level has a set number of noisemakers to hit and lemmings to use.
- Your remaining lemmings are show in the top left corner.
- Your current level score is shown in the top center.
- The game has a pause button in the upper right corner, though the game is not timed, so it doesn’t serve much purpose.
- Hit boom boxes, speakers, alarm clocks and cell phones to wake Grizzy.
- You can smash them directly, knock them over, or hit things above them that fall on them.
- When you have made enough noise Grizzy wakes up.
- If you do not make enough noise to wake up Grizzy you lose the level no matter how many points you scored.
- Power Ups
- Some levels have power ups in the air which you can hit.
- Red pepper: makes you fly faster to do more damage.
- Green potion: allows you to create a ball of 3 lemmings which can do more damage. When you collect this potion you use it on the subsequent lemming. Launch the triple lemmings like you normally would any other lemming and then click on them near the target so they fan out and cause more damage.
- Peanut butter: adds 2,000 points to your level score.
- Strategy
- Take advantage of the guide paths.
- If you barely missed hitting an object then use a similar trajectory and shot strength as you used the prior time, only slightly adjust one of those to make the shot longer or shorter.
- A larger space between dots on your guide path indicates greater force.
- Collect power ups early on in the level.
- The sooner you can do a lot of damage the greater the likelihood you will have many lemmings left over when you complete the level, helping you to boost your score.
- Attack weakness
- Glass or ice are easier to break than wood, which is easier to break than concrete or bricks.
- Aim for weak points in structures which cause them to collapse or tip on adjacent areas.
- Restarting
- In many cases power up items on the flight path highlight the optimal approach to a level.
- If you mess up an early lemming and are stuck trying to aim somewhat blind for an isolated hard to hit alarm clock it might make sense to restart the level so you can aim for the broader structure which was around it and hope it collapses on it.
- Ratings
- If you consistently get less than 3 stars on a level you can move on to play other levels & then come back to it later from the level select screen.
- Scoring
- Each object you break is worth points (often in the 10 to 40 range).
- Each object you cause to make a noise is worth points (in the 300 to 600 point range).
- Each unused lemming at the end of the level is worth 1,000 points.
- You score 1 to 3 stars based on your performance on each level.
- When the level ends it shows your level score and then that screen has 3 buttons across the bottom for level select screen, go to next level, or replay current level.
- You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any point in time.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for Grizzy & the Lemmings fans of all ages.
- People who enjoy games of the Angry Birds genre should enjoy this game.
- The game has no adult themed content.
