Game Play
Basics
The goal of the game of chess is to put the opposing King in checkmate where they can not make a move out of it.
If the opponent puts your King in checkmate and you can not move out of it then you lose.
In this game the player playing as humans has the first turn and the player (human or computer) who is playing as the ghouls goes second.
The player’s pieces start at the bottom of the board while the computer starts at the top of the board.
Pieces
This game uses a standard chess board and a standard set of pieces.
The piece list is shown below.
In this game you can promote pawns. Multiple pawns can be promoted to the same rank. You could, for instance, have multiple Queens.
Difficulty
The computer opponent is quite easy in this game. Even if a novice player moves second and plays on normal difficulty mode they should be able to win almost all of the time, with losses exceedingly rare and draw by stalemate somewhat common.
If you have an advantage in the game be sure to play strategically & take your time so taht you do not give away a victory by allowing a tie by stalemate from giving the opposing player no movement options.
Target Audience
The game is suited for players who celebrate Halloween or like chess games.
The game has no adult themed content.
