- Game Play
- Basics
- Draw lines to guide the water toward the cup so you fill it at least toward the fill line.
- You can fill past the fill line and win, but must fill at least to it.
- When you are done drawing your lines tap on the pipe to start the water flowing.
- You only get to flow water once & you can’t draw any more lines after the water flow has been initiated.
- Levels
- This game has 30 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
- Each level has a unique layout configuration.
- You can replay previously beat levels at any time.
- Winning vs losing
- You win by filling the cup past the fill line with water.
- You lose by using all the water without filling past the fill line.
- If you lose this game offers unlimited continues which allow you to retry the level again.
- Star ratings
- Your star rating is based on how much ink you use.
- Beating the level with no ink or little ink left is worth 1 star.
- Having at least the yellow line of ink remaining is worth 2 stars.
- Having at least the red line of ink remaining is worth 3 stars.
- You can replay prior beat levels to try to earn a higher star rating on them. Your new star rating will only replace the old if you earn a higher score.
- Platform types & objects
- Yellow platforms & squares – fall once you put water in motion, unless they are held up by a support.
- Yellow balls – similar to the above, except sometimes it makes sense to draw a V support under them to hold them in place.
- Blue elevators – pushes or blows water upward
- Red platforms – evaporates water which hits it
- Red background – areas where you can not draw a black line
- Plasma suction – can suck your water stream (along with yellow objects) horizontally across the screen. The plasma suction can be repeatedly cycled.
- Black & white striped wall – your water can pass through these via a plasma suction.
- Black ink – platforms you draw to guide the water down toward the cup and/or to guide other objects away from the water flow.
- Tips
- Line drawing
- If you draw a line quickly you can cover a lot of ground without using a lot of ink.
- Some lines require a lot of precision on both ends, justifying moving slowly.
- Some lines do not require much precision on either end, allowing you to move fast.
- Some lines require precision on one end and not much precision on the other end. It makes sense to start slowly on the precise end and then speed up when drawing the remainder of the line.
- When drawing lines try to ensure the slope allows water to keep flowing in the direction you prefer & make sure you leave enough space to allow the water to pour out.
- If you get lower than a 3-star rating keep playing other levels & then come back to replay the levels you did not score as well on after beating the game.
- The horizontal plasma vacuum can be cycled on and off.
- In many cases you need to cycle it in order to let the water down without having some of it go to far.
- Falling objects
- Quite often the best thing to do with yellow items is to either have them stick in place by having a support drawn underneath them, or force them off to one side of the screen so your pour misses them.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like container filling games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
