Hero Elementary Push Pull Puzzles Game for Kids Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Click on the purple and orange square button on the game’s welcome screen to start the game.
  • On your first play it will start you on the first level of the game. On subsequent plays you will start at the level select screen.
  • The game starts with 2 sets of 10 levels each where you can play levels in any order you wish. Beating all 10 levels in each section unlocks an additional level at the bottom of the level select screen.
  • Your web browser automatically saves which levels you have beat. Levels which are beat show your character whereas levels you have not yet beat show a shadow of your character.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to drag an item or set of items from the toolbox at the top of the screen into the level below, placing them in the highlighted locations.
    • Click the checkmark button in the upper right of the screen when you have dragged the correct items into the correct locations. On many levels you only need to drag some of the items while leaving others.
    • Click on the screen next to the object to move your character next to the object location.
    • Click on the item to select it. Then click on the left or right arrow to either side of it to push or pull the object.
    • When all pieces are in the correct position click on the picture of the hamster at the top of the screen to run your puzzle.
  • Mobile
    • Use your finger like a mouse.
  • The game has three buttons at the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen, restart the current level, or read how-to advice.
  • If you get stuck Mr. Sparks offers audio tips to help you solve the puzzle.
• Game Play
  • Item Selection
    • On more advanced levels you will need to select multiple pieces and place them each in the correct location.
    • Some items roll while others have a flat bottom.
    • Some items have a flat top allowing you to walk on them to reach other levels while you can’t climb on some of the round objects that the hamster can.
    • If you place items in the wrong location you can use the restart level button in the lower left of the screen.
  • Movement
    • Click next to a puzzle piece to move your character next to it then click on the item to be able to push or pull it.
      • If you are standing next to a ledge and are trying to pull an item (not via a strong pull) you must first climb over to the opposite side of the item and then push it.
      • When you set up the puzzle pieces you can typically only climb or descend one square at a time, which may require you to push or pull some puzzle pieces before activating others.
      • Many items in some of the later levels require repeated movements to allow correct placements of other items.
    • Some levels have push or pull and others will have strong push or strong pull.
      • If push or pull does not have the word strong in front of it you move items a square at a time.
        • For some items with regular strength push you may have to push them, hop over and pull them, then hop back over and push again.
        • You can only walk on top of square items. You can’t walk on balls.
      • If the word strong is in front you can pull or push up to 5 or 6 squares at a time.
        • For items with strong push or pull you may move them too far if you move them in the correct direction off the start. Instead you can push them in the wrong direction first & then move them back in the direction you want them to go.
        • No matter how much force you use items stop if they run into another object you placed on the screen.
        • On at least one level you have to use that the ball moves a square further than the box to adjust placements to where you can push a box and ball onto switches without pushing them too far and off the edge.
