Hexa Merge Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select Start to load the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button below the game’s title to begin.
  • Select the reset button to clear your previous progress.
  • Select the speaker button to turn the game’s audio on and off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high scores.

    • With your mouse:
      • Left click on a piece have the numbers switch places.
      • Left click and drag the pieces to the field to place them in.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on the piece to change the places of the numbers.
      • Tap and drag the pieces onto the field to place them in.
  • Controls and indicators
    • The speaker button is on the top left corner.
    • The home button is on the top right corner. Use this to bring you back to the welcome screen.
    • Both your best score and current scores are shown on the top center.
      • Your previous best score is on the very top.
      • Your current score is below it.
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Place the tiles onto the field:
      • Each tile comprises 1 or 2 hexagonal units. Each unit has a number.
      • Lay down a tile onto anywhere on the field it fits.
      • You can switch the positions of each number, but cannot otherwise rotate the piece.
    • Placing 3 or more units with the same number together to merge them.
      • The merged tiles move toward the location where you place the last unit that brought them together.
      • This clears up a lot of space for the tiles.
    • Earn points for every set of tiles you merge.
    • Keep merging the tiles until you can’t anymore.
  • Strategy
    • Try to keep the larger numbers forming in a single corner to make merging easy.
    • Merge as many of the lower value numbers as you can to keep the field open.
    • Maintain some open space so that the tiles merge in the direction you want them to go.
    • Be aware that some tiles will simply be difficult to fit. Alter your strategy to cope.
    • You can swap which side each of the hexagons is on before placing the piece, but you can not change it’s angle. Try to keep an area of the screen open so that you can play pieces in any orientation without running out of space.
