Hidden Objects Mysterious Artifacts Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select the play button in the bottom center of the game’s welcome screen to start the game.
    • You will be offered an option to play through the game tutorial or skip it.
  • The lower left of the welcome screen has an i button offering a walkthrough.
  • The welcome screen has a settings button in the lower right corner for adjusting game sound and music volume.

    • Use the mouse left click button to select when you find an object from the finding menu in the scene.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger when you find an object from the finding menu in the scene.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Most indicators are across the top of the screen.
      • on the left there is a keys inventory quantity indicator
      • next there is a settings button for controlling game sound and music volume
      • the time is top center
      • the upper right has a pause button and an exit game button
    • The objects you must find are shown at the bottom of the screen. An orange checkmark appears next to each item you have already found.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • Find the objects from the finding menu in the scene above.
      • Inside the finding menu you only see the shadow of an object rather than the objects.
    • Objects need not be of the same scale or orientation shown in the finding menu.
    • Some objects are obfuscated by other objects, the header navigation, being partly inside another object, and/or being partly off screen.
    • You can use the key to highlight a missing object.
  • Levels
    • The game has 3 different level layouts to play through & after you beat all 3 stages you repeat through them a couple more times each, then the game ends.
    • Each stage has 8 items you need to find. When you replay a scene again you’ll need to find new & different items in it.
    • Levels have a timer which counts up, though you can’t lose based on time. If you take a long time to complete a level it will simply means your time bonus for that level will be zero points.
  • Scoring
    • Each item you find is worth 50 points, for a maximum item-based level score of 400.
    • Every stage has at least 1 or 2 keys in it. Keys are worth 100 points.
    • Your remaining time is also worth points.
      • You start with a time-based score of 1,200 points.
      • Each second it takes you to beat the level subtracts 10 points from your time-based score.

  • The game is suited for players who like hidden object finding games.
