Hide N’ Seek.io Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
  • Select the grid button to the left of the play button to open the level selection screen.
  • Select the speaker button to the right of the play button to turn the game’s audio on or off.
  • Select the hanger button to open the game’s store.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to select game options. You can also drag your mouse across the screen to move your character.
    • With your keyboard, use the arrow keys to move.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to select and move.
  • Controls and indicators (left to right):
    • Top row:
      • Home button: Returns you to the welcome screen
      • Level number
      • Number of coin cards collected
    • Bottom row
      • Startup only:
        • Hide button
        • Seek button
      • Skip button: Lets you skip the level and move to a new one.
• Game Play
  • Level selection
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence.
      • You start the game on the first level.
      • To unlock a level, finish the current one and the select Next Level or select the skip button on the bottom right corner.
      • After finishing the level, you can proceed to the next one or replay the first.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
    • There are 40 levels in this game.
  • Game modes
    • Hiding
      • You must run away from the seeker and remain out of their line of sight.
      • You have 5 seconds to make distance between yourself and the seeker.
      • Evade the seeker for 60 seconds to win.
      • You can only see the seeker well by standing still and zooming out.
      • The seeker’s flashlight shows which direction they are facing and moving, along with when they change directions.
    • Seeking
      • You must find all 4 opponents within the maze before the timer runs out.
      • You only have a limited line of sight. Hiders need only to avoid your line of sight to stay out of your field of vision.
      • When you spot a hider, they get trapped in a cage.
  • Hazards
    • The seeker is visible to all the players who are running away if they zoom out enough.
    • Both seekers and hiders must stop moving to zoom out.
    • Hiders that step on paint puddles will leave a trail of footprints for a brief period, allowing the seeker to find them.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like idle running games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
