Idle Startup Tycoon Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select the yellow PLAY button in the lower center of the welcome screen to start the game.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including cash savings, floor level, programmer level upgrades, and manager upgrades.
  • Right of the PLAY button is a settings button for controlling the game sound and music.

    • Use your mouse left click button to move workers, upgrade worker levels, hire managers, upgrade managers, and interact with investors.

    • Tap the screen with a finger to move workers, upgrade worker levels, hire managers, upgrade managers, and interact with investors.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Across the top of the game it shows your idle income earnings and current cash savings.
    • The upper right corner of the game has a settings button for controlling game sound and music.
    • The left rail of the game has buttons to scroll up or down.
    • If you have earned enough to attract investor interest an investor icon will show in the lower left corner of the game.
    • Programmer, server, and sales office level upgrades you can afford show a green arrow next to them.
    • Managers upgrades which you can purchase based on programmer level upgrades show a green arrow next to them.
    • Managers have a bolt above their head to activate the rush command for workers & a timer clock for when the feature is in cool down.
    • Each floor shows how much cash you are generating from it until the server picks the cash up, and when you go to upgrade various programmers or managers it shows what impact that will have on your earnings.

    • Each floor of the business starts off with a single programmer at level 1.
      • You can repeatedly upgrade the programmer to increase their earnings potential.
      • When you select the level button you can choose to upgrade programmers 1 level at time, 10 levels at a time, 50 levels at a time, or upgrade the maximum number of levels you can afford with your current cash savings.
    • When you get to key levels you increase the number of programmers on the floor.
      • At level 25 you go from 1 to 2.
      • At level 50 you go from 2 to 3.
      • At level 100 you go from 3 to 4.
      • At level 200 you go from 4 to 5.
      • At level 500 you go from 5 to 6.
  • Managers
    • Each floor has the ability to add a manager.
    • When a manager is added the programmers work automatically without requiring you to click on them.
      • You can click on the manager to make the workers work at double speed.
    • The manager can be upgraded to increase the productivity of workers.
      • Upgrades can be purchased when the programmers are on levels 25 or above, having similar upgrade schedules to the programmers on that floor.
      • The first upgrade is expensive on the first floor, but after you get a bit of progress in the game the first upgrade of each manager is cheap and subsequent ones get geometrically more expensive.

    • This game has a series of 9 different floors to unlock in addition to the sales office and the server.
    • The first floor is the food delivery app startup. It costs $10 to unlock & hiring a floor manager costs $100.
    • The second floor is the mobile game startup. It costs $1,000 to unlock & hiring a floor manager costs $3,000.
    • The third floor is the ridesharing app startup. It costs $30,000 to unlock & hiring a floor manager costs $20,000.
    • The fourth floor is the livestreaming app startup. Removing the floor barrier costs $600,000, unlocking the floor costs $12 million & hiring a floor manager costs $100,000.
    • The fifth floor is the internet of things startup. Unlocking the floor costs $240 million & hiring a floor manager costs $240,000.
    • The sixth floor is the infosec startup. Unlocking the floor costs $2.4 billion & hiring a floor manager costs $2 million.

    • The sales office on the floor interacts with all other aspects of the business just like the server elevator does.
    • As you upgrade the floors you also must upgrade the sales office so it can manage higher levels of income.
    • You can hire a manager for the sales office for $400 to automate the task.
    • The sales office worker can be upgraded many times like the floor programmers are.
    • The sales office manager can be upgraded a total of 10 times, with each upgrade doubling your income.
  • Investors
    • After you play for a while investors will express interest in the business.
    • If you sell the business you will start the game over again with a higher earnings level from each worker.
    • The longer you play before selling & the stronger your business is the more of a bonus you will get on the subsequent play.
    • When playing subsequently the floor level prices & upgrade prices are the same as they were originally, making it easier to upgrade through the ranks.
