Idle Zoo Sim Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Tap the orange play button at the bottom center of the game’s welcome screen.
  • The welcome screen has a sound control button to the left of the play button and a game info button to the right of it. The upper left corner of the welcome screen has a full screen mode button.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click anywhere on the screen to generate income.
    • Click onto a zoo exhibit to upgrade it.
    • Click on the administrative building to purchase zoo upgrades.
    • Click X in the upper right of any overlay menu to close it out.
    • If you have opened multiple zoos from prior play and restart the game in the same web browser then you can choose which of the zoos you want to play. They are organized from first to last in clockwise order starting at the bottom with the bottom right and sixth zoo as the last one.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with your finger to engage with exhibits and earn income.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the game has a full screen mode button. Next to the full screen mode button is an indicator showing how much cash savings you have and what your earnings rate is. Underneath the full screen mode button is a lucky wheel which you can spin to activate a click bonus which lasts for 5 minutes.
    • In the upper right corner there is a settings button which pauses the game and brings up a menu with the following options: go to game welcome screen, sound control, resume play, restart level & game information.
    • When an exhibit is available for unlock an indicator will show above it.
    • You can scroll through all your current unlocked animal exhibits to upgrade them. When you can afford an upgrade the button will turn orange.
    • You can click on the main administration building to purchase zoo-wide upgrades.
• Game Play
  • Game Goal
    • Your main aim is to restore old zoos. Restore habitats in the zoo that will generate income, upgrade items in your administrative building and grow your income even more, research new animals so you can build them in the next level.
  • Clicking
    • In this game the zoo passively makes money and you can make additional income by upgrading various parts of the zoo and repeatedly clicking on the screen.
    • If you go idle and do not click on anything the max income the zoo can earn in the idle state is the regular rate of earnings for 180 minutes before you have to play again to gain further earnings.
    • Your click earnings are roughly half of the passive minute rate each time you click, meaning you earn about 100 times faster by clicking the background quickly than you would if you passively played the game.
    • Lucky Spin
      • In the upper left corner of the game there is a picture of a spin wheel.
      • When you spin the wheel it provides a click bonus of 10% to 100%.
      • The bonus lasts for 5 minutes.
      • When the bonus wears off you can activate the spin wheel again.
    • Concession stands earn money, but you have to click on them to collect it when a money icon appears above them.
  • Animal Upgrades
    • Animals can be upgraded 1, 10 or 25 levels at a time by clicking on the 1x, 10x, or 25x buttons above the upgrade button. The upgrade button will appear gray if you can not currently upgrade & will appear orange if you can.
    • In the first zoo the max any animal can be upgraded is to level 100.
    • By the time you get to the final zoo animals can be upgraded up to 500 times each.
  • Administrative Buildings
    • Building tab
      • Buying the new enclosure unlocks the next zoo.
      • Baby animals can be upgraded 50 times. Upgrades increase earnings 10%.
      • Advertisement can be upgraded 50 times. This dramatically increases your earnings for actively clicking anywhere on the screen background.
    • Feed tab
      • Herbivore feed can be upgraded 50 times. Upgrades increase earnings from those animal types by 5%.
      • Carnivore feed can be upgraded 50 times. Upgrades increase earnings from those animal types by 7%.
      • Omnivore feed can be upgraded 50 times. Upgrades increase earnings for those animal types by 10%.
      • Diet can be upgraded 100 times. Upgrades increase earnings 15%. Diet impacts all animals in the zoo, whereas the above 3 feed types only impact the associated animal types. In each section it shows how many animals of each type are in the zoo.
      • Special can be upgraded 20 times. Upgrades increase earnings 20%.
    • Animals tab
      • Animal safety can be upgraded up to 50 times. Upgrades increase earnings 5%.
      • Animal conditions can be upgraded up to 50 times. Upgrades increase earnings 10%.
      • Staff training can be upgraded 50 times. Upgrades increase earnings 15%.
      • Veterinary staff can be upgraded 50 times. Upgrades increase earnings 22%.
    • Bus tab
      • Bus stop size can be increased 10 times. Upgrades increase earnings 20%.
      • Bus frequency can be increased 10 times.
      • Food stands can be upgraded 12 times. Upgrades increase food earnings 10%.
      • Cash register can be upgraded 5 times.
  • Zoos
    • This game has a total of 6 zoos with each zoo having one more animal exhibit than the prior zoo.
    • When you unlock a new zoo you can choose to go to play the new zoo or continue playing the current zoo.
    • Each zoo earns 400% more than the prior zoo.
    • Animals
      • The first zoo contains penguins, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, flamingos, seals, & crocodile.
      • The second zoo contains all the animals from the first zoo and introduces the lion. Animals can be upgraded to a rank of 250.
      • The third zoo contains all the animals from the second zoo and introduces the elephant. Animals in this zoo and all subsequent zoos can be upgraded to a rank of 500.
      • The fourth zoo contains all the animals from the third zoo and introduces the ice bear.
      • The fifth zoo contains all the animals from the fourth zoo and introduces the gorilla.
      • The sixth zoo contains all the animals from the fifth zoo and introduces the tiger.
