Jewel Dash Breaker Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Choose a language:
    • English
    • German
    • European Spanish
    • French
    • Italian
    • Brazilian Portuguese
  • Select Play on the welcome screen to begin the game.
  • Above the play button are 3 buttons:
    • On the left is the information button. Use this to learn about the basics of the game.
    • On the right is the flag button, which lets you change the game’s language.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your best score and game progress.
    • See your highest score on the top right corner of the level progress screen.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Select groups of 3 or more identical gems by left clicking on them with your mouse.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap at the screen with your fingers to select the group of gems you want to remove.
• Game Play
  • Interface
    • Level progress screen.
      • Your high score is visible on a sign on the top right corner.
      • There are two buttons on the top left corner:
        • The home button brings you back to the welcome screen.
        • The trophy button shows your progress towards the game’s 3 challenges.
      • The power-ups you’ve unlocked appear as labeled crates on the top row.
    • Game screen
      • The expand button on the top left corner lets you choose between full screen and windowed modes.
      • The sound button on the top right lets you toggle the game’s audio.
      • The fuse below shows how much time you have left to play.
      • The timer at the top shows you how long you’ve paused the fuse.
  • Basic rules
    • Left click or tap on groups of 3 or more identical gems to remove them from the playing field.
      • The game will automatically replenish the gems.
      • It will also reshuffle the gems should you run out of valid pairs to make.
    • Remove as many gems as you can before the fuse at the bottom of the screen runs out.
    • Each time you remove a cluster of gems, you pause the fuse by a few seconds.
      • The larger the cluster of gems you remove, the longer the fuse stops.
      • You can see how much time you have before the fuse runs again at the top of the screen.
  • Levels and progression
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence. At the start, only the first level is playable.
    • To unlock a level, you must earn the required number of points.
      • Keep playing until you meet this number of points.
      • Any points you earn in excess of that will go toward unlocking the next level.
    • Some levels introduce a power up into the game.
      • When you activate 2 power ups at once, they stop the fuse for a longer period. This only happens when a second power up is within range of one another.
  • Challenges
    • Pop 100,000 blocks in total.
    • Earn a score of 20,000 10 times.
    • Pop 10 blocks or more at once 500 times.
  • Tips
    • Start from the top down. This way, you avoid losing any of the longer chains.
    • Target the biggest chains first. Save the chains of 3 or 4 gems for last.
    • Use the power ups whenever you’re stuck, but don’t be in a hurry to use them.
