• Starting the Game

  • Basic rules
    • Use your hero as a projectile to push the villains into spikes or at the edge of the ring.
      • The battle is turn based. You move first, then the villain.
      • Often, only one turn is needed to decide success or failure. If you fail to knock the bad guy off, they might try to do the same to you.
      • You get another turn if you somehow survive the villain’s attack.
      • When a new villain appears, you get the first turn as well.
    • Knock off as many villains as you can to clear the level.
      • Most levels have 3 consecutive enemies you beat sequentially.
      • Be aware the large & dark enemies have more mass, which means you have to hit them harder to drive them across the screen & your recoil is greater if you hit them head on.
    • Avoid getting knocked off yourself.
      • Don’t make your strikes too strong; you risk recoil, which can lead to your hero getting knocked off the ring.
      • Try not to make your shots too weak where you are still close to an edge.
      • Sometimes it makes sense to hit enemies off centered and light so that if they try to strike you they end up knocking themselves off & so that you ricochet off them rather than bouncing back hard in the direction you came from.
      • If you are too close to an edge it can make sense to aim to go toward the middle of the board without hitting an enemy & then establish your attack on the next turn.
  • Earning coins
    • You gain coins for every new villain you defeat.
      • Coins also act as a way of recording your high score.
      • Each coin can be used to upgrade your defenses.
