This is a simple hiding game where you play Lamput, who must avoid appearing in the flashlight line of vision of Specs Doctor unless Lamput is in disguise. Each night has a short clock to play through and a goal for the number of posters you must remove that night.
- Move left and right to avoid appearing in Specs Doctor’s flashlight beam.
- Pull down posters which appear in the background.
- If you do not have enough time to avoid the flashlight beam try to hide in one of the gray dashed areas.

How to Play
Pull down posters from the level without being spotted by Specs Doctor.
- Starting the Game
- Click on the “Play” button to start the game.
- The welcome screen also contains a “How to Play” button which shares the same instructions shown below.
- Your web browser automatically stores your high score.
- Game Controls
- Move left and right to avoid being spotted while pulling down posters from the screen.
- Keyboard
- Use the left and right arrows to move left or right.
- Tap the down arrow repeatedly when you are under a poster to pull it down.
- Tap the up arrow to hide if you are in front of dashed lines and want to hide. Then tap the down arrow when you want to come out of hiding.
- Touchscreen
- Use your finger like a mouse.
- Scoring Points
- Each poster you remove is worth a point.
- Each night has a different amount of time to play and a different total poster goal.
- You can score more points than the daily goal and have those additional points added to your game total.
- Strategy
- Avoid being seen
- Specs Doctor typically taps his flashlight a couple times before turning it on, which should give you ample time to run away from high light or hide.
- When the flashlight turns on it illuminates the square directly above Specs Doctor along with the square on either side.
- If a blue bucket of paint is poured on you that will make you blue for a couple seconds, which effectively makes you invisible. You can also press the up arrow near dashed black lines to hide.
- Pull down posters
- Pacing yourself
- On the top left of the screen it shows how many posters you have obtained so far along with what the goal is for that night.
- In the center of the screen at the top there is a time meter which shows how much of the current day you have used up.
- If you do not have much time left and need to get many posters then it makes sense to be aggressive and risky. If you have plenty of time and need few posters you can be more risk adverse.
- Posters can be left halfway taken down if you need to run away in the middle of the pull down process.
- Which posters to pull down
- After Specs Doctor’s flashlight is turned off it typically makes sense to remove posters closest to him and then work your way way from him removing more posters.
- The game gets much harder as you advance through levels, so it can make sense to be fairly aggressive off the start and try to vastly exceed the daily goal on earlier levels, then play more conservatively on harder levels.
- Dying
- The game is over is you are spotted once or if you make it to the end of the night and did not meet the published poster takedown goal.
- If you die you start at the beginning of the game.
