  • Basic rules
    • Cross the level and collect coins.
    • Jump and double jump to reach higher platforms.
      • You can sometimes stick to a ledge after landing.
    • Avoid enemies and hazards.
    • Reach the other side of the level.
      • This is marked by a sign titled “finish.”
      • To finish the level, walk toward the sign.
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence.
      • You always begin on the first level
      • The first level also acts as a tutorial screen.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • Each time you reload, you start again on the first level. Your browser does not save your progress.
  • Lives
    • You start each level with 4 lives.
      • Each time you are hit by an enemy or a hazard, you lose a life.
      • You lose all your lives at once if you walk to the left at the start of the level.
    • The game ends when you lose all your lives. From there, you must restart the level.
  • Level features
    • Crates
      • Crates act as platforms or as obstacles.
      • However, they are destroyed if you shoot them.
      • Shoot around the crates with care.
    • Stakes
      • Stakes slowly retract and return to the ground, wall or ceiling.
      • Stakes move fast, but in steps. Move quickly to dodge them while they’re down.
  • Enemies
    • There are 2 types of enemies.
      • Witches fly on a broom and shoot projectiles.
      • Skeletons prowl the land in a linear pattern. Touching them will damage you.
    • To defeat enemies, you must shoot them twice.
      • Enemies have a health bar that shows their hit points.
      • We advise you to shoot them from a long distance.
      • Your shots ricochet for awhile; use this to your advantage when dealing with several enemies at once.
