LEGO Speed Champions Race Drifting Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game welcome screen to start the game.
    • Select your course.
    • Initially only the first course is unlocked but others unlocked as you accumulate LEGO studs.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your best race time on each course & your LEGO stud savings.
  • Select your vehicle.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to select the button at the bottom center of the screen to start a drift.
    • Release to end your drift when you think your car will be positioned correctly for the next portion of the course.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with one of your fingers to use it like a mouse.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Level select screen
      • Your cumulative LEGO collection is shown in the lower left corner of the level select screen.
      • The level select screen shows your best race time & the medal associated with that track.
    • Race
      • Your race time is shown in the upper left corner.
      • Your race LEGO stud collection is shown in the lower left corner.
      • The game has a pause button in the upper right corner which also opens a menu allowing you to turn game sounds on or off.
      • At the top center of the game a word will show after each corner letting you know how well you did on it. Miss or poor are bad, and then it ranges to good, nice, great, awesome & perfect.

    • Each vehicle has a different top speed, acceleration & handling profile.
  • Scoring
    • You can pick up LEGO studs on the course to earn points.
    • You earn 50 LEGO studs for each perfect corner you make.
    • Activate a chain bonus by getting multiple perfect corners in a row to earn hundreds of additional LEGO studs.
  • Tracks
    • This game has 3 courses.
      • The first course is unlocked by default.
      • The second course costs 1,000 LEGO studs to unlock.
      • The third course costs 5,000 LEGO studs to unlock.
    • You score a bronze, silver or gold medal based on how quickly you complete each course.
      • This is a time trial styled racing game. You only race against your own best time rather than other drivers.
      • You must make 2 full trips around the track to finish it.
      • You can replay each course an unlimited number of times with any vehicle.
