Light Way Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game

• Game Play
  • Level selection
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence. At the start, only the very first level is playable.
    • You can replay the levels you’ve unlocked.
  • Basic rules
    • Position the mirrors so that the light from the source (marked in-game as “the sun”) reaches the pyramid.
      • You cannot place in the mirrors when the light is on.
      • You can only use the mirrors provided to you.
      • There are some parts of the maze that you can’t place a mirror on. Your curs
    • In later levels, you must make sure that light reaches several pyramids
  • Green blocks
    • Green blocks
    • To let light pass through a green block, you must shine a light on both it and a green bar somewhere else in the level.
    • Position mirrors to make sure that both the block and the bar are illuminated.
  • Interface
    • On the bottom left are the following buttons:
      • Start: This turns on the light source.
      • Stop: This turns the light source off.
      • Restart: This resets the entire field.
    • On the bottom right are the following buttons:
      • Speaker button: This lets you turn the game’s sound on or off.
      • Hamburger button: This opens the game’s options.
  • Positioning the mirrors
    • The sun beams light in a plus-shaped pattern over all 4 directions.
    • Placing a mirror will redirect the beam either horizontally or vertically.
  • Tips
    • Don’t be afraid of trial and error. Turn the light on and off to see where it should go. Experiment with the position of the mirrors to find the best arrangement.
    • You can work backward if you are stuck to help you half split for the best locations to make the most out of your mirrors.
    • If you’re confused or need to start over, select restart.
