• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.

    • With your mouse, left click and drag to aim. Release to shoot.

      • Reset button: Starts the level from the beginning.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • As cupid, fire arrows at the lovely couple.
      • Aim the arrow carefully at an individual.
      • A dotted line will show the path of your arrow
      • Release the arrow when you’re ready.
      • Repeat the process with the other creature.
    • Use platforms and other level features to bounce your arrow to reach a creature located in an awkward position.
    • Each time you hit a member of the couple an arrow, they become all lovey-dovey.
      • The arrow must land on the creature’s body to have an effect.
      • The couple will run toward each and hug, producing a child and completing a level.
    • Collect all the offspring from the creature couples.
      • Some of the unlikely couples produce the oddest children.
      • Keep track of the babies by selecting Babies Unlocked on the level selection screen.
  • Arrows and star ratings
    • At the center of the screen just above Cupid is the arrow meter. This shows you how many arrows you have left.
      • At the start of each level, you have 5 arrows.
      • Each time you shoot, you lose an arrow.
    • To earn the best rating in the game (3 stars), you must shoot only 2 arrows.
      • The more arrows you use, the lower your star rating
        • Shooting 3 arrows gives you a 2 star rating.
        • Shooting 4 or 5 arrows gives you a 1 star rating.
      • Fail to make both creatures fall in love and you fail the level.
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
      • You start with only the first level unlocked.
    • There are 25 levels in the game.
      • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
  • Obstacles & features
    • Many levels have wood boxes and wood planks you need to arc your shot over, or shoot around another way.
      • On some stages one of the lovers will push the wooden planks out of the way after you hit them with arrows.
      • On some levels you need to knock one of the wood planks out of the way using an arrow to have a shot angle to hit the lover.
    • Metal plates can be used to ricochet your shots.
      • Some shots can ricochet off multiple consecutive plates.
    • Your arrows can break through ice or ropes & continue onto hitting a lover.
      • If a lover is hanging from a rope you need to hit the rope before the lover, as an arrow which hits a lover sticks on them.
      • A lover which is hanging from a fixed rope can not meet its mate until after it has been freed from the rope.
    • Around halfway through the game warp portals appear.
      • Your arrow goes in one and out the other.
      • If your shot is angled incorrectly you can shoot an unending shot that repeatedly goes from one warp to the next & back. Reset the level if this happens.
    • Some levels require an arrow to interact with multiple level features.
      • For example, you may need to ricochet a shot & then have the arrow go through a warp.
