- Game Play
- Basics
- The goal of this game is to clear all stones from the board before the timer reaches zero.
- Most stones are a proper cube, though some might be slightly offset in shape.
- Players must match 3 identical stones which are open to remove the set.
- A stone is considered open if it has at least 2 consecutive sides (left or right) which are free of other stones.
- Open stones turn yellow when you select them. If the stone does not turn yellow it means it is not open.
- The stone that is selected is shown in the upper left corner of the screen.
- You can match stones which are not visible on the screen at the same time by selecting one stone and then rotating the puzzle.
- Levels
- This game has 40 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
- You can’t go back and replay previously beat levels without starting the game over at the first level.
- Each level has a unique time limit and board layout.
- Winning vs losing
- You beat levels by clearing the board of stones before the timer reaches zero.
- If you fail a level you can try again an unlimited number of times, or end your game.
- If you choose the end game option you can submit your score, but you erase your gameplay data when you choose to end the game.
- Scoring
- Level scores
- Each set of 3 you remove is worth 100 points.
- Each second you have remaining when you beat a level is worth 30 points.
- If you play the game quickly most of your score will be from your remaining time.
- Getting help
- Taking a hint costs 150 points.
- Shuffling stones costs 500 points.
- Your game score is cumulative across your level scores.
- Tips
- Try to match from the corners of the widest rows early so that you open up the playing field and give yourself many open stones to match against.
- Sometimes it can be hard to see stones lower down on the puzzle, particularly if there is an outer obstructing row that is higher up, so it can make sense to match off the higher rows early as well to clear a view.
- Whenever you see 2 identical open stones on the screen you can select them and then rotate the board looking for a third match. This won’t work all the time but works most of the time. If it doesn’t work then repeat the process again while selecting other stones.
- Due to how the screen spins some interior stones are almost impossible to see on a sustained basis (and thus select) due to exterior stones which obfuscate them. If a stone you need is in such a position, then try to make other matches until you clear the obfuscated view.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like Mahjong Solitaire games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
