Masked Stabber Sneaking Game for Kids Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select start.
  • When you click on the start button the game automatically plays in full screen mode.
  • Click the escape button to exit full screen mode.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Left click with your mouse to select.
    • With your keyboard.
      • Use the left and right arrow keys to move.
      • Jump using the Z key.
        • Hold down the Z key to jump higher.
      • Stab using the X key.

    • Although the game might load on touchscreen devices, its controls were optimized for desktops with keyboards.
• Game Play
  • Basic
    • Get close to your victims and stab them repeatedly.
    • Defeat all the police officers on each level present to clear the level.
    • You must hit each opponent many times. You can hit them many times in a row, or once off here or there which adds up to their total hit points.
  • Level selection
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence. You can only play the first level at the start of the game.
    • The first few levels act as a tutorial for the entire game.
    • You can play any of the other levels you previously beat by selecting them again on the level select screen.
  • Accomplishing a murder
    • You must get quite close to your targets to start stabbing them.
    • Do not touch the victims, or they’ll turn the tables on you.
    • Stab them repeatedly until they are defeated.
  • Avoid getting killed.
    • Your victims are cops; they will shoot you if they see you.
      • You must make the stab attempts when they aren’t looking at you.
      • The cops turn around every so often. Time your moves so that you’re safely out of view when you try to kill them.
      • Be mindful of the cops’ line of sight.
        • Don’t try jumping at them when their backs are not turned.
        • Avoid being in the same level as them when their backs are not turned.
        • You should be safe if something obstructs their view.
        • Their line of sight is mostly horizontal.
          • As long as you’re standing somewhere above them on a platform, you can move.
          • If you are falling through midair in front of them and they are facing you they will still be able to see you unless a platform blocks their view.
      • Pay close attention to their movement patterns.
        • Run toward them when their backs are turned.
        • Try not to run too fast.
    • Avoid jumping onto spikes. Touching any of them is an instant death.
    • Each time you die, you start the level again & all enemies have their full health restored. The position of the cops stay the same before you were killed.
  • Tips
    • Time your movements so that you can close the distance between you and the cops without them suspecting a thing.
      • Make your move the moment the cops turn around.
      • Stop short of where they are and start stabbing immediately.
      • Your victims take awhile to die, so tap fast.
    • Your player makes large steps which does not match the gate of the police officers.
      • Be very careful when approaching the cops.
    • Choose your targets in the appropriate order.
      • In general, choose the one that’s easier to reach.
      • Targets in areas with difficult to cross obstacles should be saved for last, especially if backtrack is near-impossible.
    • Patience
      • Obtaining one hit at a time over long periods of time can beat levels where it is easy to get spotted on and lose if you are more aggressive.
      • Starting on level 6 there is a barrel you can hide in off the start to avoid getting seen. Police can not see you even while you are moving while you are hidden in a barrel.

  • People who like retro platformers should like this game.
    • This game is quite difficult, requiring an extreme level of patience due to how short your blade is and how many times you have to hit each opponent to beat them.
    • There is a small amount of cartoon blood in this game, so is may not be suited for very young children.
